I have a brother that complained about this with the 1st game...but he simply complained that the camera left you vulnerable. That you couldn't see enemies sneaking up behind you ..so yeah...some people just can't adapt.
So basically what I do is take a look at the general consensus and if you land somewhere around there than you objectively assume that it's likely an 8-10/10 so it doesn't matter if someone scores it an 8. But if someone comes in with a 6/10....that's questionable. It's objectively questionable. It could be that the mainstream got it wrong in which case that 6/10 needs to make sure to be as close to 100% objective as possible to avoid the opinion bullcrap.

Yeah. Never seen a parent company fork over so much for a losing team. I dont think anyone expected any of the console holders to start buying up the big publishers. It was definitely an OH SHIT moment...and not in a good way. Xbox is definitely a trend starter.
Microsoft is trying to purchase their way into relevance. I dont care what they say. Its shady and crappy.
The OG xbox and 360 was good at bringing PC games to consoles. Thats one thing that xbox did more or less okay...although I'd argue it only managed to make those PC games dumbed down in many aspects to serve the casual gamer.

Thats true...but when they own an IP with a specific style appropriate to the dev team its kinda irrelevant. We likely wont see a sequel because sony would have paid ninja theory to make it. And now they cant.

This is a side scroller detective game. Could be fun but for me plague tale is an actual contender. And according to some I'm a huge PlayStation fanboy or some nonsense like that.
