I'd be more inclined to say that they don't count because a huge chunk of them aren't actually exclusive. Hell, a bunch of these so-called exclusives have been available to play elsewhere for years.
I bought my PS4 for good exclusives, not a bunch of multiplats. Why would anybody care if Sony has the marketing rights for a couple of games that you can play on everything else? Are we gamers or shareholders?
Unfortunately Sony shut down Zipper Interactive, who were the studio that made MAG and SOCOM. It was around the time they shut down Studio Liverpool as well, who made the excellent Wipeout HD for PS3. Two great studios gone, I miss them a lot. I wish Sony hadn't abandoned LightBox Interactive either (Warhawk & Starhawk devs) because a new game from them would have been great as well.
I think Sony made some really poor choices when it came to which studios to shut down...

Well, I couldn't care less about Forza since I'm PlayStation-only, so rambling about their sales to me doesn't really count for much I'm afraid. But we do know that GT6 was the worst selling game in the entire franchise and sold about 80% less than GT5 so yeah, it's safe to say that GT5 caused huge damage to the franchise. The second GT game of each console generation always sells less than the first, that's true, but GT6 just completely nosediv...
The thing I don't understand, is why bother doing a remake in the first place if you're just going to change everything? It doesn't really make sense to me. If they interfere with the gameplay and story etc. then it's no longer a remake is it? It's more of a remix.
If they start cramming the game full of standard cars and tracks again, then I'm done with the series because having PS2/PS3 content in a PS4 game would be disgraceful. I would much rather see a significantly lower car count of 300-400 cars that are all high quality, than a mish-mash of content from multiple console generations. This goes for tracks as well as cars, it was painful to see how bad tracks like Deep Forest, Laguna Seca and Trial Mountain looked in GT5/GT6.

Yeah, I'm definitely jealous of the guy and how much money he makes. I really don't think I could do what he does, though. I could probably last a month or so of making videos where I scream about rape and child abuse before I start questioning my own morals/sanity and lose sleep/health from it. I've no idea how he does it to be honest.
Yeah, the one time I watched one of his videos he was just screaming about rape and was so intolerable that I had to turn it off after a couple of minutes before it gave me a headache. I'm honestly confused as to how people can watch his videos every day and be entertained given how grating he is.
I'm hoping that Microsoft makes the Xbox 360 emulation available for Windows 10 as well as Xbox One. Apparently the emulation software is a Windows 8 app, so if they brought it to PC so that PC gamers could buy digital copies of Xbox 360 games and play them on PC (no streaming needed) that would be great.

Either ways, I don't own an Xbox but speaking personally I'd always choose 720p 60fps over 1080p 30fps. Framerate has a huge impact on the playability of a game, whereas resolution does nothing except suck up resources and make the game look a little nicer.

Would anybody here really complain if Sony added the option to disable the light bar on the Dualshock 4? The extra battery life gained from doing so would be nice.
While we're wishlisting features, it would be nice if Sony added avatars to the PS4 online store, added the functionality to change PSN IDs and also delete games from our trophy list regardless of their percentage level (right now we can only delete 0% games).

If Sony were right about this, why did they spend $380 million buying Gaikai so that people could play PS3 games on PS4? Why did they also go to all the trouble of hiring studios to port PS3 games such as The Last of Us, Uncharted Trilogy, God of War 3, Beyond: Two Souls etc. to PS4, if nobody cares about it?

Honestly, this is why Nintendo should stop making home consoles and become a third party developer that releases their games on PlayStation & Xbox.

Yeah that's how I got my PS4 last holiday season, in a crazy cheap bundle with GTA5, The Last of Us and DriveClub included. They were actually being sold cheaper than Xbox's with comparable bundles lol, I was really pleased with that.
I'm hoping to see the Xbox One down in the £250 price range this holiday with a game or two bundled. My only console right now is a PS4 (I did have a PS3 & 360 before that) because I hate having a bunch of videogame consoles...
The announcement of backwards compatibility has me seriously considering the purchase of one. If they add some of the games I'd love to revisit like Burnout Revenge & Burnout Paradise, I'll probably buy one during the holiday season when retailers are offering crazy bundles at low prices. People often like to downplay the importance of backwards compatibility but it's a huge selling point for me personally, I just hope they get a good selection of games working.
To be honest, exclusives aside, I feel like the racing genre as a whole is in a horrible slump right now. I'm sure Xbox owners are happy with having a guaranteed good racing game every year, but I really do miss the less realistic and fun-focused racers such as Burnout, F-Zero and Wipeout. I feel like the obsession with realism and licensed cars has really hurt the racing genre and industry as a whole.

I dunno, but everybody thought PS3 was doomed for years after it launched, but it gradually closed the gap and eventually managed to overtake the Xbox 360 as the generation closed, so anything is possible really. It's also worth noting that the PS3 was in a worse situation than the Xbox One is right now. At the end of the day, anything could happen.
