Sad to see a website like that shaming anyone who doesn't fit their idea of "realistic" women. Making people feel uncomfortable about their own bodies is a terrible thing, whether it be what they consider to be too large or too small. What kind of message is it sending to girls and women that they're not big enough?
Would be nice to see what's happening with Criterion. A new Burnout game would be really nice.
Microsoft only releases games in Winter. Sony only releases games in Spring.
Yeah, this method of playing games from the last console generation on new hardware is completely different from that method of playing games from the last console generation on new hardware.
Same here, I'm waiting for some good Xbox One bundles and then I'll snag one. It looks like they have a constant stream of genuinely good exclusives coming out and the backwards compatibility is really appealing to me. It's funny as well because Halo 5 looks terrible in my opinion, but they've got such a strong lineup of other titles and features that the console is desirable anyways. I'm excited to finally play Sunset Overdrive, I'll just have to wait until we get clo...
Why does a sequel have to have Joel & Ellie? There's plenty of other stories to tell in that world, I think it would be interesting to see a story centered around people in another country, maybe somewhere in Europe or perhaps locations we rarely see in games like Brazil? My main interest would lie in seeing what they did with the multiplayer mode though.
@BlackTar187
They had both. The coop wave mode was part of the standard multiplayer mode, but the co-op story was it's own thing in both Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 and was basically an alternate story mode that you could play online with other people. Uncharted 3 was even presented as three different modes when you launched the game, the menu would ask if you wanted singleplayer, co-op story or multiplayer. They had some fun remixes of familiar environments and even had ...
It's a strong contender for worst game collection ever released. I can't think of any other collections that strip out content, let alone as much content as this one has had removed. That automatically puts it at the bottom of the pile in the laziest cashgrab ever category.
You don't get all three games though, you get bits and pieces of them. The substantional co-op story modes and competitive multiplayer has been pulled out. If anything, you're getting one third of the experience at a premium price. Not very good value for money really, seems more like a cashgrab that's trying to exploit fans with the lure of a beta for Uncharted 4.
I remember back in the PS3 days having a PS+ subscription granted you access to betas, but it seems ...
Not sure I'd call it the best game collection ever released when it's missing such a huge amount of content from the original releases. In fact, I think this is actually the first time we've ever seen a remaster come with less content than the original games.
I remember reading about Microsoft giving Rayman Legends and Assassins Creed Black Flag away with XBL Gold. I'd have loved those games on PS+.
Sony said they were looking at DriveClub as a service back when they fired most of the staff who made the game, so their goals are likely to just keep pushing out DLC as long as possible. As such, I can't imagine it being free but maybe they'll take pity on people who bought the game and season pass and hand out some free stuff?
Actually you just made his point even stronger ziggurcat.
Anyways, I think lazy cashgrab is a more appropriate term, to be honest. I saw earlier that God of War 3 was ported to PS4 by a team of just two guys for example, yet we're expected to pay such a ridiculous price for a resolution and fps boost? In PC games it's as simple as opening the options menu and changing those yourself, but greedy publishers now want to charge crazy prices for the privilege.
I'd vote Ascension as being the weakest in the series by a significant margin, that game was terrible.
As for God of War 3, I think it's the best in the trilogy to be honest. I played the PS3 remasters of GOW1 & GOW2 right before playing the third game however, so I was experiencing the games without nostalgia. I found God of War 3 to be a big improvement over the second game personally, I never understood how people could rate the second game higher.
It's not just the lack of competitive multiplayer either, but the lack of the cooperative story mode as well.
It's going to be particularly glaring with Uncharted 3 which greeted you with a menu at the start offering singleplayer, co-op & multiplayer. In the Collection two of those three modes will be missing which is inexcusable. This isn't the Uncharted collection, it's a sloppy cash-grab that's missing huge chunks of content.
Even i...
Don't forget that PSNow subscription either!
People like TheDreamCorridor using a mans death as an excuse to try and one-up others? I've seen it all now. Jesus.
It might not have been flawless but it definitely worked a lot better on PS3, that's for sure. There were much better PS+ offerings back then as well.
The funny thing will be if the project drags on for such a long time that it ends up releasing on the PS5 instead. I remember people being so excited for Final Fantasy Versus 13 that they bought a PS3 and well, we all know how that turned out...
I think resolution is mostly dependent on how much RAM your GPU has. I'm no expert but I imagine if your GTX 970 has 4GB or more it will probably be fine? I imagine it's still running on Unreal Engine as well, although they probably made the jump from UE3 to UE4.
