DmC is one of the most unjustly hated games in recent history. The art direction and boss battles were among the best and most innovative of last generation, and the game was unabashedly fun throughout.
People who complained about the lack of 60 fps, manual targeting, and other aspects of previous games will probably retreat to the "Dante is emo" stance again, now that those concerns have finally been addressed.
Regardless, I guarantee you that most...

You gore hipster you. :P
Oh god, yes! He is hilarious. The Napoleonic Wars: The Video is one of my favorites ever. His friends are funny too and help make the videos more enjoyable.
Also check out Birgirpall and Robbaz. Good stuff.
@mikeslemonade
System limitation? Considering that the game has had mechanics specifically encouraging juggling since... forever...I don't really know what you're talking about.
@Aither
"So let me get this straight. Because AJ spent an entire console generation neglecting 2 out of the 3 major consoles makes him subject to being a credible reviewer? What crack are you smoking?"
Okay, so let me get this straight - you have to review EVERYTHING in a particular media in order to be credible? Let's look at the ramifications of what you are saying:
- Official Xbox/Playstation/Nintendo Magazines/Websites are n...
@InTheLab
Both games belong on both consoles. That's his point. PS4 owners don't "win" because SFV is console exclusive and Xbox One owners don't "win" for TR - ***GAMERS*** lose because historically multiplatform games are being moneyhatting into exclusives.
@monkeyDzoro
"AngryJoe - Unbiased reviewer a.k.a the guy who spent an entire generation without a single review of a PS3 exclusive ?"
Angry Joe spent an entire generation without a single PS3 review because he spent an entire generation without owning a PS3. Would you rather he reviewed PS3 games that he never owned or played?
Also, he owns a PS4 this generation. Sounds pretty biased to me.
"As well as pissing everybody off by making them pay £45,678 to access all of the game’s content, Killer Instinct had such a troubled time that even the developer ran away once it had tied up everything its end."
This guy is an idiot. It was 19.99 for all of Season 1's content, and is 19.99 for all of Season 2's as well.
Also the developer didn't run away - they were bought by Amazon. The author should research better before he flap...

"X1 just took an Akuma signature level 3 in the face with this."
Do you even Street Fighter, bro?
The KI IP is owned by Microsoft. Completely different situation. It would be like Sony releasing Uncharted on Xbox.
@Ron_Danger
"One of the main problems with what you said about people complaining about Tomb Raider is that you could preorder Tomb Raider on PS4 at a lot of retailers after the original reveal and once it was announced as exclusive, the vocal minimum who preordered it made a fuss over it."
Dat. Spin. I'm dizzy.
I highly doubt that the ratio of people who preordered a game that was TWO YEARS FROM RELEASE with no definitive avail...
@Blues
Agreed. I swear that conspiracy theory logic has become the norm these days amongst certain gamers.
@-Foxtrot
Facts are facts. I implore anybody who doubts what I say to check your comment history, as well as anybody else's who supports the GamerGate movement and see how you and they treat anybody who disagrees with you. Repeat for the other extremely vocal members of "the movement".
And no, it's not just Sony or Microsoft fanboys, but fanboys in general. My point was that the mentality is the same, regardless of topic or which sides you s...
The thing about GamerGate that amuses me is this:
If you check the comment history of the people on this site who support GG, you'll find that a majority of them are fanboys for one console or another. Not fans, but fanboys. They are the ones who repeatedly go into rival console-related threads and talk trash and start flame wars. And it's understandable, because the same mentality applies.
It's the "my thoughts are the only ones that matter ...
@trauma
I'm sure that they could come up with stories that take place after (or even before) the original game and do a great job with them. I just think that part of the beauty of the game is the mystery of the past (we know snippets of each character's lives since the outbreak, but not everything by a long shot) and the uncertainty of the future. Sometimes the most effective story is the vertical slice of a period of time. That way, your mind can focus on the greatn...
Do you know the best way to get bubbled down for an immature comment?
Making an immature comment.
I think that TLOU was such a definitive game that any return to the story will only end up coming up wanting. It's not like Uncharted, where Drake has any number of adventures and stories that he can be placed in and it will turn out okay. The Last of Us was THE story of those characters and of their lives. Anything beyond what we've already seen will either diminish the original if it's better (however unlikely that may be) or pale in comparison (most likely). Neither is a good o...

EDIT: My friends list is down though.
Sony sold 82.3 million PS3's, over 155 million PS2's, and and 102.49 million PS1's.
Nintendo sold 101.23 million Wii's for first place last generation.
Please quit it with the underdog talk.
Just as an aside, does anyone else appreciate the irony that morganfell had one bubble before the big reset a few years ago and is now bubble-counting/taunting Nick about his?
Also, who gives a crap about downgrades - the game looks gorgeous.
