I love how people are worried about the times that their internet goes out instead of seeing how cool the times will be that it doesn't.
My power went out the other day and I was mad at Microsoft because my Xbox doesn't run without electricity. Said no one ever.
Come play with me and my clan sometime. After 10 or 15 beatdowns in a row, we'll see if you continue lamenting a lack of strategy.

Last generation, a consistent question was "PS3 has free online gaming - why do I have to pay to play on an Xbox?" It was valid at the time. Many people (particularly on the Sony side of things) went so far as to say "online gaming SHOULD be free" and "I will never pay to play online." Fair enough.

While that is true, can you blame Microsoft? LIVE is a revenue stream for Microsoft and a service that people pay for - primarily to play online game. The naysayers say "I can do it for free on my PC/phone/tablet/other console.&qu...
I've seen WAY more people (most of which have never played and will never play the game) calling it a COD-clone and mediocre than people claiming it to be perfect.
My thoughts:
it's the most fun first month I've ever had with a multiplayer game. It's not perfect. Hell - it's probably not even the best game I've played in the past year. But every time I play it, I have an enormous amount of fun, which is why I am a gamer in the first place.
Awesome decision. Microsoft has come a long way since this time last year. Hopefully, Phil will take the division to the best place possible.
Or, Covert Operative Spencer will destroy it all. Either way, should be entertaining!
All of those shaders, texture units, ROPS, and queues, and yet BF4 still only runs at 720p and 900p. Just goes to show you how far behind both consoles are in relation to the PC.

I completely agree. I love Sony products, but I hate Sony fanboys - or at least what a lot of them do and say on N4G and other sites. Not to say that I like MS fanboys, but they are far less in numbers - even last gen, despite what some "victims" might tell you in their retcons of N4G history.

The reason Maria is criticized for his/her submissions is that he/she is quite possibly one of the biggest pro-Sony/anti-MS trolls N4G has ever seen. So much so, in fact, that he/she is banned from commenting on submitted articles. However, he/she can still submit articles and write blogs for whatever reason.
I love how ISP's use bandwidth caps, as if somehow they will run out of megabytes and gigabytes if they don't limit their customers to a certain amount. It's the same BS that phone companies have pulled for years with minutes and it's disgusting.
