@ASTAROTH
No, the fun stops when you realize that the creator's hyperbole is pretty much spot on to some of the fanboy drivel that you see on sites such as this one. The thing about satire is that it's not JUST supposed to make you laugh - it has a message to convey through its warped presentation of reality.
Agreed - I'm glad this update is happening, but I have no idea why they launched the party system as they did instead of this way. I still hope they bring back notifications for when your friends sign on (or at least favorites).
1080p wasn't the standard in 2005, considering that most people didn't even have an HDTV yet.
It sucks, but it's all about sensationalism now. Back in the day, rumors and insider info was for upcoming sequels to blockbusters or new IPs to keep an eye on or basically info about cool stuff that gamers could look forward to. Now, it's all resolution and doom and gloom and basically stuff for fanboys to keep score in this pathetic war they wage. I'm all for a return to the old ways.
CBOAT is probably being fed bad info by his sources. Could be a molehunt on MS's part. Anyway, discredit him and he loses his power.
The only FPS game series from Microsoft's 1st party studios is Halo.
5-7 scores mean more when you're paying 60 bucks new for something. I'm more likely to see a 5-7 scored movie at 10 bucks than a game at 6 times the cost.
I think that fanboyism is something beyond emotional attachment. I guarantee you that many fanboys hate their "enemy" console more than they love their preferred console, which is very sad. These people let an experience that they don't intend on having rile them up and turn them into vitriol-spewing hatemongers, fighting a war that has no bounty for them if victory is achieved.
As for the article's fanboy rankings, I agree for the most part, but I could sho...

"But it's not just about exclusives, remember? It's also about the best multiplats.
That's what the 360 fanbase kept insisting over and over again when the 360 exclusives dwindled."
Every time you bring that up, you sound like the girl who can't get over her boyfriend leaving her five years ago and takes it out on every man she meets for the rest of her life. Spoiler alert - she dies alone and misera...
@GTgamer and cochise_313
That is not what alexkoepp meant and you know it. What he was saying is that good games are good games regardless of whether they run at "true" HD or 60FPS or not. The fact that you confuse "choppy framrates/screen tearing and bad performance" with "running at a designated resolution and/or framerate" and talk about pre-patch PS3 Skyrim says to me that you are talking about poor optimization rather than a game running as ...
The game was extremely replayable for me in beta form, with two maps, three game modes, a level cap at 14, under half of the weapons, perks etc. that will be available in the retail version. The option to "do it all again" is always nice.
I think he means Twitch in-game streaming. On a side note, is the X1 Twitch app horrifyingly bad for anybody else? I have a decent connection, and the thing is forever changing stream quality and rebuffering the same stuff, giving me a broken record effect. I don't have problems with any other streaming apps.
Easy, chap. You got GTA London: 1969. What more do you want? :P
Nothing is unhackable. In fact, calling something unhackable will probably make it get hacked even quicker.
@DragonKnight
Okay fine. From now on, every time you read something negative about a Sony game from an Xbox fanboy, I want you to say to yourself "hey, this guy is a very reliable source" and tell him that you appreciate his contributions.
Also, I'm not going to convince you that you are interpreting what I said incorrectly, so I give up.
@DragonKnight
Do you even read what you write? Obviously The Last of Us had a great plot, but in terms of game mechanics, it did nothing new. The while argument of this article is that the gameplay is not new. Plot has nothing to do with it.
@johndoe11211
I'm talking about fanboys, not normal people. k3x asked me which fanboy is more trustable (a dumb question, I know), and I responded.
@DragonKnight
Way to twist my words.
Let me put it simple enough for even you to understand.
A fanboy for a particular console may find reason to dislike a game on that console after playing it. Chances are, they will hope the game is good and even be hype for it until they are proven wrong.
A fanboy for a rival console will look at that same game and find (will find, not may find) reason to hate that same game before they pl...
@k3x
Fanboys reviewing something on their console may find fault. Fanboys reviewing a rival console will ALWAYS find fault.
You might still need more than 20 gigs for the install process before they remove temporary files, but it probably wouldn't be 40.
