@Mikefizzled
"He also said Halo 3 and 4 would be upscaled and released this year too."
Maybe by journey they don't mean Halo 2 Anniversary, but the entire Halo Quadrilogy (sorry ODST). That would be crazy.

Such cool!
@NewMonday
It's very possible. Plus Guerrilla already knows how to push the PS4 hardware, so I'd imagine that it would be very good looking as well.
The games are fine if you like that kind of game, but they don't feature a memorable lead character with their own personality (as you kinda make it your own). Therefore, any crossovers won't really have source material to work with, character-wise and will seem generic or not really requiring a Fable moniker.
Totally agree! But it has to be done right - they have to keep a true "feel" to the originals, but also update it to fit with the times, which is difficult.
@morganfell
"Looking at the post history of the two of you, neither can walk that walk."
Any specific comments of mine that would lead you to make that statement? Because I really don't know what you're going on about. I may be more of an Xbox guy than a PlayStation guy, but that doesn't stop me from buying Sony products and enjoying what they have to offer. That's where we differ.
Project Grave = Ryse 2? The first was Project Kingdoms.
@AceBlazer
"I for one honestly only care that it's better than the XB1 version."
You are what's wrong with gaming fans today. You don't care how good something is, just that it is better than your competition so you'll have a talking point. Sad.
@morganfell, again
I said it was cool. I like the idea. I'll probably end up trying it myself. My contention is that it is not the end-all be-all nuclear weapon like you are purporting it to be.
Also, I would definitely say that most people play a game for the first year and never run it again. It's the nature of the industry. Sure, certain games I might go back to, but we're talking less than 5%.
@morganfell
Streaming old games that you may or may not already own is hardly a nuclear weapon. It's pretty cool though.
@ausbo
"is there nothing inside your brain besides a little voice that says "bash Microsoft till you die""
Anybody who has been on N4G for years already knows the answer to that question. The real shame of it all is that he is quite eloquent and well-spoken with what he writes - he just uses it primarily for hatred and bashing things that he doesn't like instead of being a cornerstone of intelligent and fair discussion. Since we're...
@-Foxtrot
So let me make sure I'm understanding you...
Phil Spencer is a figurehead that Microsoft puts in front of the public to take credit for changes, because people wouldn't believe the changes were real unless it was Phil Spencer apparently making them.
It's not Phil Spencer making these changes - it is the evil, faceless Microsoft hivemind that is *GASP* trying to improve public perception and improve market share.
...
Phil Spencer is single-handedly removing just about every barrier for entry to the Xbox One that he has the capability of removing in his first months as head of the Xbox Division. No matter how this generation plays out, he is giving the Xbox One the best chance to succeed and remain competitive in the market.
Why?
I'm kinda sad that this means that universal adoption of Kinect is gone, and with it, any chance of meaningful and widespread integration into games. I love and use it for the UI and Snap features though, so at least there's that.
On the more positive side, the lower price will push sales, which translates into a greater likelihood of more games and support.
@xHeavYx
Learn to read. I said in the US. As in the United States. If you can find a link to a current source that says PS4 has outsold Xbox One in the US by a ratio of 2-1 in total sales, I'd love to see it.
@xHeavYx
"Yes the One may outsell the PS4 in the US for a couple months, but once the hype goes down, everything will go back to normal"
I don't think you understand. The Xbox One has been relatively close in sales to PS4 in the US at $500.
What do you think is going to happen when it is $100 cheaper? And yes, the US =/= the world, but it still is the primary MS market.
@xHeavYx
"I can think of a few people who said tp me "it will never happen"
I think the price should be around $350 though"
And I can think of a TON of Sony fanboys whose constantly repeated talking points (required Kinect, price, app paywall, Games With Gold inadequacy, etc.) just got doused in gasoline and burned to the ground this morning. What do you have left to harp on about - a couple of better looking multiplats and the n...
Kinda like Tom Selleck and Brock Lesnar had a lovechild who eats souls.
@MrTehDiNGO and kenmid
The party system is better than at launch, but it is still unreliable when compared to the 360 version. I play every day with the same 5 guys, and invariably at least one of us can't hear the other guys when we first join the party. We either have to log out then in again or reboot. It's a pain in the buttocks.
However, at least it works now - at launch we had significant problems getting into the same game and/or actually gett...
