For every HD disc sold, 100,000 dvds are sold? Lets see... "300" sold over 200,000 on HD discs. Now by your idiotic calculations 20 billion copies of 300 were sold on DVD? How can sales be up when 90% of the DS's in the US are running pirated stuff. I mean Nintendo has sold around 20 million units in the US so only 2 million of them are legal according to those figures. Thats half the installed base of the PS3 in the US. continue to say upscaled dvds look almost as good as hi-def material. Thats a bunch of crap. Upscaling only smooths out the picture as far as I can tell. It doesn't add any detail.

Gamespot just did the math. MS said they shipped 10.4 million units by the end of 2k6. They said recently they shipped 17.7 units from launch til the end of 2k7. 17.7 - 10.4 = 7.3. Its not that hard kids.
won the HD format war for Sony, it can only be seen as a success. Not as big of one as Sony would have hoped for so far but winning the HD format war will create a ton of revenue for Sony that will NEVER be credited as it rightly should to the PS3.

I've missed over the years. Just don't have the time to play them as they are 40 hrs to 80 hrs long each. With the 60 gb ps3 I can take my time and buy them at dirt cheap prices when I'm ready for a new one.
However, the other two territories seem to have a ho hum attitude towards it. Thats a shame. But Sony should release more colors outside of Japan. Look how well the pink DS Lite has sold and I certainly wouldn't mind the option of picking up a metallic dark blue or something. As for the PS3 Sony might need a price drop to reach their goal of 11 million units by the end of the fiscal year(march 31th). They need to average 175,000 units sold a week to get there and they are coming up short ...
Resistance 2 will be an M rated game. I doubt it will ever be included in a bundle.
Sony will always support UMD with their Sony picture releases. Toshiba? They don't do movies. How are they going to provide any content?
That game was good fun. They just need more variety in the missions and its good to go. If I remember correctly every single mission in the game was go hunt this person down and kill them.
