They got what they deserved. They had every chance to come to an agreement with the BDA before releasing their format. They choose to fight the PS3 and they got smacked down.

Toshiba finally raises the white flag. There's a reason Pioneer, LG, Samsung, Panasonic etc don't make hd-dvd players. The prices have dropped so much there's no money in it for them.

But does anyone know if the PSP will ever support divx? That would be awesome.

It seemed pretty fair to me, pointing out problems with each console. Interesting read I guess for those that bothered.

before I even clicked on the link.

Oh wait, never mind. BTW It don't matter if its 200 million people trying to get on at the same time. MS collects $50 from each one of them so the frickin' service better work.

Ugly Character art may be the death of this game. Well at least I still have Super Street Fighter 2 HD to look forward to.

But they couldn't nominate any PS3 game according to their own biased reviews. Because they rated ALL ps3 exclusives an 8.0 or lower except Warhawk which got an 8.5 from the now fired Gertsman.

COD 4 and Crysis are blowing away the other titles when it comes to the reader voting. Its a shame God of War 2 isn't getting more votes. That game is amazing but being a PS2 game means it has no shot.

I love the Star Ocean series.

Hopefully Sega releases it in the US for a bargain price.

MS charges $50 a year to "unlock" the full games you already paid for. Not only that but they slap ads all over your dashboard. Yet you fools can't wait to give MS your $50 a year.

Swapped it out with a phonebook then sold it for some cash. He seems way too happy about getting shafted. This way he gets money + a replacement ps3 from his parents.

But this really is a problem MS and Sony have to address. What happen to the days of factory seal stickers? Do they really cost that much more? Now they just use generic ones. As for Nintendo they don't even bother to seal the Wii so at least you can check inside I guess.

When people would rather shoot their neighbors then get a frickin' J.O.B. to pay for their own stuff..

It would have been nice if they had a more open mind about it but writing an article bashing Sony and their products because they wont send you a tv to review is just childish and makes OXM look much worse then Sony. Everyone knows Sony makes the best if not one of the best LCD hdtvs around so why bother sending one out to a gaming magazine for review?

Lets flip it the other way around. Why don't people stop buying the bundles? This guy has every right to run his business the way he sees fit. Who the hell are you to tell him what to do? He doesn't have a problem, you do.

This is just plain bias. I can zip through the ps3 playback controls faster then people can use a normal remote. Plus the ps3 lets you scan fwd and rev without having to pop up the menu. 360 also makes you press A to scroll to a 2nd menu set for the rest of the options while the ps3 has all options on the original pop up.

Edit: @P4KY B Oh rly? Most 360's come with a remote? How come I've bought 2(premy and elite) and neither of them came with one? Only the launch units ...

But the whole church thing? That was gold. I'm sure it helped Resistance sell at least a few thousand extra copies.

And if its true that more people are giving the system a try thats great news.

That segment has no clue what a "good game" is. Hence it is very risky to waste a quality developer's time and resources to make a decent Wii game. Because even if it is good there is a chance that the Wii audience won't care or pick up on it because they don't read reviews or do any research. Publishers are figuring this out and as a result the Wii will become home to if it hasn't already, the most shovelware a single home console has seen in the last 20 years. Most Wii 3rd par...
