if people with money want to over pay for an apple go ahead. But don't tell someone who can only afford to spend $300 to $500 on a laptop that an apple notebook is better.

on their first try. I finished it in about 6.5 hrs and I would consider myself of average skill as a gamer. But I guess one guy said he beat it in 5. So someone has to come out and say they beat it in 4. I guess next week someone will say it took them 3 hours.

you no longer have the drivers for some of the laptop devices. You can search the web and try to piece together all the drivers you need but even that will usually leave you with functionality missing.

I agree with you. Its mostly the teenagers that care about those extra features. I don't give a damn about them. I go online to play with or against others. And for that sole purpose PSN is superior because of the dedicated servers. I have no desire to chat, invite people, gossip or make friends online.

Its because you can't buy XP with a laptop nowadays. Dell and Compaq offer some gimped ones with the option for XP. But if you want to buy a Laptop with a dedicated graphics card I haven't found one that is sold with XP. Not that I'm going Apple mind you. I just gotta wait and hope MS fixes Vista.

Digital downloads = Rentals.
Blu-ray = sales. A very small pct. of dvd or blu-ray sales are attributed to rental companies. I believe it was in the area of 5%.

2 different markets. A renter doesn't normally buy movies and a movie collector doesn't normally rent much.

Why don't people get this?

Not only do you have defects that might not surface immediately but you have consoles that may have been Live banned, modded or tampered with in some other way. Buying a 360 used is just a bad idea unless you can get it for $150 or less. At that price if it breaks you can still probably part it out and break even.

Wii Sissy. Comes with a tutu and a velcro strap to attach the wiimote. Where you too can prance around in the magical faerie kingdom.

The psp fat was too bulky and heavy to carry around in a pocket so I had a seperate mp3 player. But once I upgraded to the slim I got rid of my Iriver.

1. This is Gamestop saying this. Not Sony 1 day before NPD numbers come out. haha

2. PSP sells well in all 3 regions unlike the 360. Example? 60k to 80k PSPs sold in Japan compared to 2k to 4k 360s.

"Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 have been in such high demand stores are having a hard time keeping them in stock."

Hahahahahahah They have no shame.

Where the PS3 outsells the 360 by around a 100k units a month. Sony estimated in the beginning of the year that they would over take the 360 installed base there by the end of Summer. And they were trailing by over a million units to begin the year. 1,000,000 / 8 months = 125,000 units a month.

I would have expected alot more. I believe the PS3 sales jumped around 140% after its price cut.

I could have sworn the PS3 was listed at 10.9 Mill units BEFORE this week.

But I guess I'll go with SS Tennis since its $10 cheaper and wait for the price on this to drop.

or they have no confidence in their product. They expect the fad to die out so don't want to invest in starting more production lines. Take your pick its one or the other. But to still say they can't anticipate sales 16 months later? Sorry that dog won't hunt.

from 10 million units to 13 million units. How can an article claim the PSP handheld needs saving when Sony expects to sell 3 million more units then they previously thought. When all is said and done the PSP will probably end up selling between 50-60 million units in a 5 year cycle. That is 10-20 million more then all the original Xboxs and Gamecubes sold put together. I'm sure Sony would have wanted to sell more but I hardly think it classifies the PSP as a failure.
