"Shadowrun (Microsoft) will be appearing on my annual list of best games of the year."
And Uncharted with lengthy dialog? He must of only played the first hour when they were trying to set up the story. The middle 5-6 hours of the game has about as much dialog as Gears of War... And you can not play R & C by just mashing two buttons. This is obviously a Sony bash job. Whatever his motives are I'm not going to speculate but something is fishy.
If they are interfering with the enjoyment of the xbl experience you pay for report them. Especially if some of them are freaking you out.
Its about time these dorks learned there are consequences to their actions. Just because you can hide your zit-filled face behind a tv doesn't mean you can say whatever the hell you want.
Its already 3rd place in sales in EU and Japan. The winner will have to win 2 regions and be competitive in the 3rd. The 360 is competitive in 2 regions and non-existent in the 3rd. You simply can't win worldwide like that.
I thought it was a blast although the puzzles were a bit easy.
Vip3r: That 3 year warranty is only good for the "red ring of death" everything else is still only 1 year. And we all know how poorly put together the 360 is. For example my Elite doesn't shut off half the time now. If this happened outside the 1 year warranty MS would be charging me to fix it along with all the other problems 360s have outside the RROD.
And I would love a 3rd installment as well. I wonder why Capcom doesn't do it. It could be a "Smash Bros" for the PS3 and 360.
But I don't see it happening. Sega has burned to many bridges in the past. They have let all their franchises disappear or rot into mediocrity. They also don't have the money to compete with the likes of Nintendo, Sony and MS. Of course that could change if they partnered up with Apple or another mega corporation.
Not Nick. How seriously can you take this review when the guy doesn't even bother to remember the main character's name.
Those people need to worry about their own jobs. Isn't 1up as well as EGM on the verge of closing down? Its wrong for cnet to pressure their reviewers to give higher scores. But if they told Jeff and he decided to ignore them, then he should be fired. Why should they pay him if he doesn't do what they want? Welcome to the real world kiddies.
About a year ago I knew little about this stuff. However a year later I probably know more then just about any salesman. For instance there is no such thing as an "HD antenna" that the article mentions.
if the ps3 version is decent. I just don't need the headaches. My 2nd 360 an elite doesn't turn off half the time now. The green power light shuts off but the fans and usb ports continued to be powered. I have to turn it on and off again or unplug it from the wall to really shut it off. These systems are just poorly made.
Now that is sad.
My guess is they reserved a certain number of controllers to be sold at $19.99. They are now all gone so it has gone back to its usual price.
They will most likely offer you a price adjustment.
showed Square exactly where the rpg money is or at least where it ain't...
Amazon did the same thing last year with a 360 core for $100. It literally shutdown the site. It only started working again after the systems were gone.
The only competition the 360 had its first year was the PS2 and no publications bashed its first year sales. The ps3 has had to contend with the 360, Wii as well as Sony's own Ps2. And all you get from these media outlets are constant bashing of the Ps3. Me thinks a certain software giant is shoveling money down the pants of some websites to create the illusion of failure. The ps3 hasn't caught fire like Sony had hoped but it is far from the doom and gloom that some sites would have us be...
Previewers from GDC and E3 were complaining that the aiming was "too loose". Naughty dog tighted it up to perfection. Now we have this moron complaining about it being too perfect...
Otherwise you just may end up playing the fool. Looking at VGChartz (yes I know how fanboys like to cry about its inaccuracy but in my opinion they are usually in the ballpark and when talking millions of units all you can do is be in the ballpark). PS3 is at 7.2 million worldwide, averaging sales of about 420,000 units a week for Dec. Three weeks of data left in Dec not accounted for which should put it at around 8.5 million at year's end. That leaves 2.5 million units to sell in 3 month...
