Must admit I do like the look of this and certain to give it a try. I could tell straight away this was a Ryan Mccaffrey piece though lol.

He is in his 80s so I would be weird, and I imagine would command a fairly hefty fee.

And only as long as the first game they've said, all those years of development for that? To think some were touring this as a GoW competitor.

A bit disappointing, but the first game bored me to tears, long before it released on or became an Xbox IP I might add.

Indiana Jones looks much more interesting to me.

Does look pretty good, can tell it's machinesgames. Will probably give this a go.

I think the root of the problem is the stupid auto upload and having to opt out of it, rather than opt in.

Wonder how long before this account vanishes lol

I'm not a fan of live service at all, but I do think Factions had the potential to be pretty fun a chance of being quite popular for Sony, shame it's not being salvaged in any way, like a non-live service or a standalone non-f2p.

Certainly had more potential than Marathon and Fairgame$ lol.

Well, certain people jumped the gun and failed to take in to account that particular slide was dated from 2020 and was just a projection, running with it like it was already a done deal and a failure.

And zeref was running around all day saying it lost 8 million, turns out it made around 64 million in profit lmao.

@fox it's the same sad idiot that's been doing it for months. I don't think it's orchard as whoever it is seems too unhinged, but who knows.

Well MS claim to not care about console sales so why bother? It wouldn't solve their console situation, especially with another 3 years of them having their own and 3rd party devs still have to cater to the weak series S.

In doing this there's zero guarantee that it'd sell any better, and Sony could then release a more powerful system a year later if they wanted to.

vgchartz has been known for overtracking every xbox console. Pretty sure one of the numbers/admins is pro xbox, or at least was in the past.

@fox

'It's exactly the same'

No it's not. The rest of your post is just rambling while pretending to be nuetral, but you aren't fooling anyone.

How is a licensing deal to use a 1st party studio to build games from scratch the same as spending 80 billion to remove decades old multiplatform IPs and cancel PS5 versions of already in development games the same? Please explain.

Anyone with half a brain and a tiny bit of logical thinking knows a licensing deal to fund and develop marvel games as a first party is not in any way the same as spending 80 billion on publishers to sweep up a dozen or more IPs that have been on playstation for decades in some cases, but this falls on deaf ears of the most brainless fanbase on the internet.

You'd have a point if the numbers weren't from 2022, and before the PC port, and before the thread, mkis. Might not have made a huge profit, but it didn't lose money.

Zeref running around calling everything a flop, bet he won't call this a flop, can't begin to imagine why.

875d ago 20 agree8 disagreeView comment

Because several braindead individuals on this site seem to only use CoD and Fortnite as a measure of a game being successful, apparently a 35% projected return on investment is a big failure and live service is the only way, even though most fail and flop.

875d ago 20 agree2 disagreeView comment

Calling all those PC releases flops is just innaccurate and gives no context, sure sackboy is yikes, but some of these released years later after they sold many millions on console already, but you will of course ignore that conveniently.

I don't think day and date PC ports are any 'solution' to what you claim, unlike MS, Sony don't want to gut their console base. I can imagine most of those ports besides the obvious Sackboy made a bit of extra cash on the s...
