The absolute copium from you and obscure, assuming you're not one and the same. So the goalposts get moved again and your coping mechanism for one of Xbox's most popular games now being on their main competition is that it's outselling other games on the store, I see this a a good thing, especially if the supposed 'test the waters' thing is true, this means more MS owned IPs will remain or come to PS in future, but I'm sure you'll find a way to somehow spin that :)...

Guys, its the same moron hiding behind his daily alts, just mark as spam and move on lol.

We were told with MS massive cash this would be much bigger. Turns out after 6 years it's basically the same length, and the 'gameplay' if you can call it that is mostly the same. Well at least it looks pretty, even if it's 30fps with a letterbox view.

Funny that the Xbox fanatics always talk crap about PlayStation's '3rd person narrative movie games' yet a 9 hour walking simulator is suddenly the next thing since sliced bread lol.

Guys you're wasting your breathe.

The goalposts will always move, everything will always be spun in another direction to be somehow terrible for Sony and great for MS, even if they went full third party it wouldn't change, there's no reasoning or arguing with the fanatics.

Playing Rebirth, Ronin, or Helldivers 2? Lololololol don't count not made by a first party studio.

MS release their games on PS? Lololol sloppy second...

A fantastic game that hopefully will have legs and PC will boost the sales when it arrives there. I think a bit of context is needed though, with the first launching at the peak of the first covid wave, on a 100+ million PS4 userbase, and this being a sequel. The narrative it would have somehow sold gangbusters if it released on Xbox is just lol.

Even so, I hope it eventually sells strongly, I'm sure the deal with Sony helped with devs costs and they were able to re-use...

Yeah, very low quality bait when Xbox probably accounted for 10% or less of those sales.

Loved Crash 4, that's more than I thought, I had a feeling that releasing at full price, right before current systems was a bad move, so 5 million is pretty good. I shudder to think how poor Rumble sold though.

Spyro apparently at 10 million, would be interesting seeing the platform split for these.

Are you alright mate? Maybe give the alt trolling a rest for a day or two, you'll survive I'm sure.

'how many GaaS games can people juggle realistically before gaming becomes more of a chore than a hobby?'

This to me is one of the main cruxes of the problem. If you try shove 10 GAAS titles down everyones throats, that demand you spend a few hours every day for the 'dailies' and 'weeklies', there's just not enough time for them and they saturate each other.

You're wasting your time, actual logical thinking and context doesn't exist to these people, they know all this full well anyway. They know it didn;t move the hardware needle, barely anyone was rushing out to grab and xbox to play this, there was no huge increase in GP subs, no sales data has been given (no doubt it will pretty well on steam at least), gee I wonder why. It's easier for MS to to not give any context and talk about MAUs, planets explored, bullets fired lmao.

'Industry analyst Michael Pachter'

Stopped reading there.

It no longer works for Microsoft because they gutted their software sales for years with gamepass, had a poor exclusive offering, as well increasingly plummeting console sales. Stop trying to lump Sony and especially Nintendo in to this basket lol.

This reads like a 'sorey you were offended by what we said' rather than a sincere apology to me. That and apparently the same person then went on an unhinged about having to apologise afterwards.

It's funny isn't it, all these guys clowning on PS5 'third person narrative movie games', yet suddenly this game, which is similar scope to the first, looks to play the same, wilp be way more walking simulator and movie-like than any playstation game is suddenly the best thing since sliced bread and 30fps is now fine lol.

684d ago 12 agree2 disagreeView comment

Suddenly, cinematic walking simulators will be considered as amazing games by the Xbox faithful.

30fps on console, same gameplay and boring puzzles. Can't say I care for the game at all, the first is one of the most boring games I've ever played (played it close to launch), but I will see this one at least looks visually impressive.

'"Forced"? Please. MLB is one of most played games on Xbox since its first release. I´m 100% sure that "forced" is the feeling surrounding Sony right now. Especially at San Diego Studio which *all* of its developers, managed to keep their jobs!'

Conveniently ignoring it launched on gamepass.

"Had Insomniac Games been "forced" into making a licensed game like Spíder-Man 2 multi platform, they probably wo...

Yes Helldivers 2 is doing great, and is not on Xbox, and is a live service game. Microsoft gains zero advantage of Sony releasing this on PC.

The license holder for MLB threatened to take away the license unless it was also released on Xbox.

It's been known since the buyout that Bungie are remaining 'independent' and publishing games where they wish, this is not news.

Yes, those games came to PC years later. This has been ha...

One of the conditions for the bungie acquisition was they remain acting independent and are allowed to continue to release games on any platforms of their choosing, they aren't technically a part of the playstation studios umbrella. These are also live service games, on the other hand you don't see Helldivers 2 on Xbox.

We'll have to see if that changes with all of their recent blunders.

And make no mistake, the moment that 'Microsoft start to present positive numbers for Xbox on future financial results partially due some succesful first party games released on Playstation, make no mistake, Sony will follow just like they´re doing now with PC.'

What's the incentive of Sony or Nintendo releasing games on Xbox consoles where most won't buy them and the majority just wait for gamepass? I could maybe imagine day and date with PC at some po...

I don't get this nonsense of trying to lump in Sony and Nintendo with what MS are doing. The whole article is trying to paint MS as some genius because their console business is failing from the biased Destin, and people cling on to the spiderman budget to push their recent agendas for dear life, it's laughable.

Playstation is selling like hotcakes, the 7 year old Switch is outselling the newest MS console. MS completely gutted and neutered their console hardware an...

Helldivers 2 has already released and well, need I say more?

Also are you playing Rebirth on your Xbox? Or Rise of the Ronin? Been plenty of games on PS5 so far in 2024.
