Totally agree. It's nice to see well rounded coverage of all games - not just the really awesome ones
I hadn't heard of tiny troopers until this. Colour me intrigued. Thanks for the heads up.
Sigh. Another one of these games. Talk about a cash grab. No thanks.
Maybe add a reason why you don't think so? Hard to argue with the trend...
Mmm yeah this is the way to go about releasing content updates. Glad to see they are supporting it well.
Well this looks intriguing lol
This is awesome! I really like this idea given how easy it can be to lose the true gems amongst the rubbish. Great choices
Have to agree with you on this one. I honestly find these guys pretty arrogant and so I'm not willing to support their work at this stage. That and I find some of their work pretty distasteful.
I'm constantly amazed by the breadth of content that Tin Man Games takes on. Really looking forward to this one!
All of these games thoroughly deserve to be nominated. What a fantastic spruiking for the quality of games on iOS.
Whew, it was a pretty big month with some hard hitting titles on there. Haven't played Monster Hunter but I've heard it's a beast of a game. But really loving that Traps made it at number 1. Such an awesome game!
Wow so many big franchises coming out with games like these. That COD game just soft launched in Australia recently too. Cautiously optimistic but it depends on how invasive the timers and IAPs are.
Wow really excited for this one. Glad there's not long to wait too.
I agree with the above discussion but I think developers need to be really savvy about the games they port. Games with semi complex control schemes aren't going to make the transition to mobile devices well. Bioshock should be ok, being a fairly straight forward shooter. But even ports of other games - like GTA - aren't particularly easy to play on my iPad.
Hopefully A Clockwork Orange is one classic we never see turned into a gamebook :P
Whew, some pretty nice deals on that list. For such low prices I'm probably going to pick most of them up! I also heard Joe Dever's Lone Wolf has also been dropped to free.
Not sure I agree with Jon about how gamebooks can't connect us to literary classics. I get his point, but I honestly think they can be an amazing vehicle to reconnect us with gems that we may never read or pick up on our own.
What a good idea. Training monkeys up to fight for us. I don't think that will ever turn into a problem...
That's what it reminded me of! For the life of me I couldn't think of the name. Seriously though, 80 Days is amazing. One of the best gamebook experiences out there!
I hadn't heard about this title until now. Sounds quite intriguing. Might give it a go.
