Yep, not getting my click with your obvious desperation.
As a 30 year old, this question baffles me. What is the presupposition behind it? That video games are for children only? So why on earth would developers make games targeted at adults only? Indeed, the average age of a 'gamer' is in the early 30s. This type of neanderthal thinking shows how closed minded and simplistic some people are in seeking to understand a culture that they are not part of. Truly saddening.
Can we please stop approving this sensationalist, click bait rubbish?
Sony Defence Force, activate!
You mistake me for caring champ
And look which website is spewing forth the usual poor quality 'journalism'.
haha yep, best laugh I've had today.
Author is way off topic here. What gives him the right to decide that his views are the morally correct ones? It's people like him that means we can't have rational debate about certain topics. Because those who take the opposite stance are automatically branded bigots. Quite pathetic really. Poor journalistic integrity.
Spot on. Towerfall was exclusive to the OUYA for around 6 months - 1 year. In a year, it only sold 7,000 copies on the OUYA. And yet that still landed it the title of best selling game on the console.
Thanks for your response, that's some really interesting info. Do you think it was pure ignorance on their part or rather arrogance thinking that they didn't need to engage in that sort of 'marketing'?
Exactly my conclusion. The sacrifice in mobility was not one gamers were willing to make for the type of games the OUYA was pushing.
This story was submitted first - http://n4g.com/news/1959814...
Yet this one gets up first. Typical N4G rubbish process as usual.
Spot on Sgt. I stopped commenting regularly and submitting articles months ago because of how pathetic this site has become. The mods love to wave the impartiality banner but at the end of the day they love to fan the flames of the fanboy war to generate those extra clicks. It's really quite laughable.
I respect that a lot seanpitt23. It's awesome that a game such as this could leave such a lasting impact. As for me, I tried twice to play Tlou and couldn't do it. I felt the game was overrated and generic. BUT, that's the beauty of opinions.
But Kiwi, no other company does this. Sony certainly doesn't. Sony genuinely cares about its fanbase and aren't interested in the bottom line. No, they do not employ marketing tactics like this at all.
It's also certainly not in vogue to hate on MS, especially on N4G. Who would want all those extra bubbles and upvotes from other likeminded sheeple? Certainly not the 'true gamers' on N4G.
You have some shares in Sony I take it? Oh, you don't? Ahhh just a fanboy, I see. Trying to justify your console of choice at someone else's expense? Anyway, back to playing some Fallout for me. That's what us true gamers do - play games rather than measuring appendage size in the comments on N4G. Have a great night :)
Haha. A mod lecturing someone on incompetence and poor journalism. Maybe fix up your own backyard first, whereby you allow a toxic flame bait cesspool of articles because it generates dem extra clicks.
