For sure. Such a charming game that really nailed what makes a point and click adventure so enjoyable
That Super Graviton looks pretty awesome.
I know right. I wonder how much freedom they have to design their cards. Like, wouldn't you go all out and design something really awesome? But, as you said, Notch's card is pretty bland.
Still these cards are very cool. Can't wait!
Still - having put that idea in my head I wouldn't mind seeing what they would have come up with :P Maybe they should make it anyway - sort of like how those April Fools pranks sometimes turn into real games!
I've taken Bubble Inferno out for a whirl and had an absolute blast. Sort of like a Flappy Bird/Jetpack Joyride cross over, but with bloodthirsty gophers!
Yeah same here. A bit too trippy for my liking I think, but hey, gotta give these sort of games a go :)
Haven't played this one yet, but if it's as fun as Hoplite, Isle of Bxnes etc, then count me in! I'm absolutely loving this resurgence in roguelikes!
Mmm, always on the look out for games like this so thanks for the heads up guys!
Haha love it. This is truly an awesome game, so the more content the better. Pure, crazy fun.
Amazing to see the love these massive devs are giving to ios.
Wowza, this guy spent a lot of time putting this together. But well worth it :) Great read.
I haven't actually played Civ Rev. Out of curiousity, what makes you say it was dumbed down from the PC version?
Fair call, and I wouldn't expect them to. I guess I'm more referring to the iPad rather than iPhone though. I think the calibre of games already on iOS show that it is a completely legitimate and worthy platform to develop for. Why not a guy like Meier throwing his support behind it in such a big way?
That's a pretty hefty update. Admittedly, I haven't played this before so now sounds like the perfect moment to jump on board. Thanks guys!
I have to be honest - it makes sense if this was the case. And, it actually wouldn't bother me. It'd be awesome to have a game and dev of this calibre on iOS exclusively.
Agreed. As the article goes on to say, it's sort of that thing we know academically but no one has ever blatantly come out and said it like this. I really dislike that sort of business model. But cudos to these guys for having the cojones to jump to premium and rebalance it.
Just started this the other day. Put it down after 30 minutes. Had to change my underwear...
Agreed. I've heard fantastic things about Table Tennis Touch though. Have you tried it?
Oh man, I'm excited already. Given the massive install base of the iPad, just imagine how many players we could get rockin
I actually heard that Godfire was just so-so. Anyone actually played it, and would recommend it? I've also heard Lex is absolutely fantastic!
