This would explain why my BB store is preparing to expand its Blu-Ray section, to double its current size.
Shadow of the Colossus...every single death left a little pang of guilt.
Honorable mention: Andrew Ryan from BioShock. The fact that you can't stop yourself from killing him only makes it a little more tolerable.
More appropriate for the forums, my good man.
Please also bear in mind that the liberal left is just as guilty as the right in wanting to censor things. Good examples are their frequent attempts to remove Huck Finn from reading lists (because of its use of the "N" word) and Tipper Gore's campaign in the 80s to censor music.
And I shouldn't even have to mention the campaigns of state-sponsored censorship under the leftist leadership of Mao, Castro, Pol Pot, and Stalin (to name a few).
Been looking forward to having a fun platformer to play this year.
This goes on my "must-buy" list.
Censorship:
Sir Francis Bacon:
"A forbidden writing is thought to be a certain spark of truth, that flies up in the face of them who seek to tread it out."
Jeremy Benthem:
"As to the evil which results from censorship, it is impossible to measure it, because it is impossible to tell where it ends."
David Berninghausen:
"In order to get the truth, conflicting arguments and expression must be ...
Agree + bubbles. Good points.
I know the new motherboard is supposed to help fix the RRoD; but the Falcon design has been on the market for just a few months, which isn't long enough to determine if it will lead to a significant reduction in hardware failures. I'm not "pretending;" I'm just taking a wait-and-see attitude.
I also have a right to be skeptical; four dead consoles in less than 18 months will make a person question things.
As Rush, the world's greatest rock trio, once said:...
Sony has proven that their consoles have long lives; nine years for the PS1, and seven years (and going strong) for the PS2.
Since MS pulled the plug on the original Xbox awfully quick, we have no way of knowing what its lifespan would have been. But the 360 could be a different story, assuming that MS can get the hardware issues straightened out: Seven years (or longer) is a possibility, if the software support lasts. Imagine in five years, a 360 that's under $150, with a good ...
C'mon, folks; until we have the finished product, we won't know how successful Home will be, or if it has issues. This is flame-bait.
Belongs in the Open Zone...only GAMERS need to post here. Take your flamebait elsewhere.
Not Pimps at Sea?
God, how I wish I had bought stock in Nintendo about a year ago...
There are some quality games on that list...not all are AAA, but I see some potential million-sellers there.
Dang. I'm gonna be just as broke in '08 as I was in '07. :)
Yeah, no Alan Wake listed...and LOL at listing Duke Nukem Forever.
Best balance between consoles that I've seen on VG in a while. Good to see Ratchet back in the top 50, and Halo 3 back in the top ten.
This proves that yes, 360 owners do buy a lot of games. Always have. Apparently, Wii and PS3 gamers are now doing the same.
Sold.
EA doing its usual thing:

Of course, there's always the option to NOT BUY IT.
If it happens...
...the Earth will be flung from its orbit by the collective explosion of fanboy heads around the world.
Bloody hell. More of the same until at least 2012.
I miss 2K Football.
