I have two friends who are missing one apiece...I'll forward this link to them. Nice job.
...fake.
...is that I'm going to be broke by the end of the year. But I'll be smiling.
...there goes another 50+ hours of my life. But $30.00 is a bit pricey for a console expansion. Knowing Bethesda, tho, it'll be worth it.
Didn't his guy once work for Marvel Comics? Can't be too many Evan Skolnicks out there.
But I agree...too many games rely on old genre cliches to tell stories. For example, Advent Rising had buggy controls, but it also had a good story. Couple that with good gameplay and you've (usually) got yourself a winner.
A demo or real-time (non-CG) imagery released in July will go a long way towards determining if this is Sony's Halo...or another forgettable shooter.
--Because it's fun. People aren't interested in the Wii for realistic graphics or smart AI. They want an interactive experience that they can share with family and friends of all ages. What the heck is wrong with that?
For the record, many of my 360/PS3-owning friends also have a Wii, primarily for the communal experience--playing with their parents, siblings, girlfriends, etc.
I do agree, however, that it's a little overpriced. $199 is probably a fairer price. ...
Almost as funny as the Forza screenshot in the Sony ad. :)
It's being compared to a CG video...of course it's not as good. This game's still a while away from being released...once we have a playable demo, then we'll get an idea of what Killzone will (or won't) bring to the table.
It can't get here fast enough. I think this game will qualify as virtual crack.
Three and counting. With the receipts to prove it.
Isn't this what we've heard from devs many times? That the PS3 is harder to program for then the 360? Before you flame me/agree with me PS3/360 fans, remember that both systems are still pretty new, and with time, both have tremendous potential. But here's the rub: If the PS3 is proving to be difficult to make games for, and if the system's complicated architecture continues to frustrate programmers, then what? Mass defection to 360, or more 360-based ports? Or, if given enough time, will dev...
I like the idea of having a dog/pet, but pleeeeeease, Peter, have a multiplayer mode! Online AND offline co-op, if possible!
King Kamehameha-Douche!
...that was fast. And discouraging.
Let's focus on the fact that this will be one fantastic game, the first of what will likely be a groundbreaking trilogy. Just enjoy it.
BTW, I have to agree with Anerythristic26--the two systems are pretty equal in terms of graphical capability. Just because Gears focuses on a more realistic style and Heavenly Sword bears a more animated tone doesn't mean that one is better than the other. They're two different styles, designed to appeal to two different types of gamers; the m...
Mad Catz products haven't worked well for me, although their products are generally good sellers at my store. At least Sony is allowing 3rd party wireless controllers; when will MS come around? (At least let Red Octane do a wireless guitar for GH2!)
I think, that at least for now, Gran Turismo has met its match. Maybe instead of GT setting the standard that Forza looks to exceed, Forza will set a new standard for GT5 to exceed.
360 #1: DOA. Bad HD right out of the box.
360 #2: Died a month ago.
360 #3: Still kicking (so far), but makes an odd sound when I start it up.
Thank God for Best Buy replacement plans...a simple exchange, and I have a new system.
While I don't think that this problem is as grossly widespread as this story would have you believe, I do think MS needs tighter quality control AND better customer service.
I work in a lar...
X3, Kingdom of Heaven (director's cut), Black Hawk Down, Courage Under Fire, and House of Flying Daggers are the highlights. Most of the others are forgettable. Still, the above titles are worth a look, esp. in HD.
