So....a videogame character that is potentially very very offensive to Italians is "pushing white privilege"? So then is it "native American privilege" that the Redskins named after them?
The PC police need to die off or get a hobby already.
It's nice to see that all the "heavy hitter" devs are in favor of DX12, and see potential in it. Who knows how that will translate to games, but if it's even partially as good as it sounds, it should yield some great things.
Oh I never thought of this...with the announcement of a kinect-less XB1 on it's way, companies may be doing crazy deals on XB1's with Kinect included to fill the lull until the new Sku releases.
I don't get why this is an issue. Who buys an XB1 to play Elder Scrolls Online, but has no other plans to get online? Who knows, maybe this is due to the fact that it is planned to get better dedicated server support...we have to know more about why they insist really. Then after that if $5 a month or $60 a year (assuming you don't take advantage of one of the new deals popping up every week) is too much on top of the $15 a month fee...then play it on PC, PS4 or don't play it. ...
Since when has ONE picture on the internet meant "numerous complaints"? Come on people, quality journalism. We don't even know what caused that specific issue.
I haven't heard anyone complain about their XB1 in any case. All I can say with certainty is that where I live, it reached over a 100 degrees 3 days this last week, my system was on nearly all day, each day and showed no hint of every over-heating.
He actually makes good points, and I was surprised to hear him say that the XB1 version looks better....and true while it does look better in the areas he mentioned, the PS4 also looks better in the areas he mention it looked better in...so there is some give and take. However, honestly...judging by the videos we have available to us at the moment (in the quality state they are in), I notice little to no difference in them at all really. The differences could be more due to the area, scene,...
Uh, yes, I'd love to play another Red Dead game....although in a weird way, I'd like it to be late 2015/2016...sounds weird I know, but I have a ton of games already on my plate and I'd like to be able to give this one the time that it deserves...plus extra time to make it right would be great.
It should be noted that you guys should download and watch the video from the link. I made the mistake of watching the streaming one and thinking it was some sort of trolling attempt. My bad, just a head's up. That being said, despite the downgrade from the original reveal of this game...it still looks great. I finished paying off my preorder today (with trade-ins). I'm ready for the next few week, quite a few games I want to play.
I think there is no arguing that the game has been downgraded since the 2012 reveal. Unfortunately, a lot of times when a game is revealed at E3 (on a PC) it's more impressive than when it actually releases on consoles. That being said, with all the talk over the last year about Watch Dogs being downgraded here or there....really it actually looks really good. Downgraded, sure, but the particle effects, reflections, rain, etc still look amazing.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but as a secondary opinion I'll say that I love the DLC, all three maps are really well done, and I've already spent much more time playing this DLC that I have playing games that cost much more. Then again the author feels that the original game under-delivered, so it seems logical that they would feel this way about the DLC. I on the other hand don't feel this way. I think the game is great the way it is. Some complain about enough ...
Of course it does, and gamers should all hope it does (even if you have no intention of ever getting one). Although this guy admits he can't tell for certain either way, it's a little too early for all these potential "doom and gloom" opinion pieces. XB1 is killing it in software sales, so they are making a lot of money, and console sales are actually doing very well for being in 13 countries (that's NOT and excuse, but it is a fact that they are only in 13. MS is of ...
For some reason when I clicked on the link I kept getting an error message, so I'm not sure of the points of the article and why they think that it has hurt the series. However, I will admit that while I think the game looks great, after that it's not the best inFamous in any regards. My personal opinion is that the game looks great enough that they could have take a slight visual hit and better used that processing power to create more activities/chaos within the city. There were ...
So isn't this a testament to the fact that devs should more heavily use tiled resources? Textures from what I understand eat up the most RAM, and if they can be tiled, it drastically reduced it's heavy load on RAM.
Ha ha these kinds of things are funny. I remembering these happening MS's way back during the system launches. It's really not AS MUCH of the actually System Companies' fault (they are somewhat responsible of course), but it's usually some marketing company that hires people that aren't gamers. Either way, these are usually good for a laugh, but not really a big deal.
That is a good point, AW will hold the hype sooner because it's more relevant. However, I can only speak for myself and say that while I'll get AW...I'm more hyped for Halo 5
This... Yeah it all has been proven to be promising so far, and it looks like there is more to come. It's a great time to be a gamer.
Now back to titanfall
Oh come on. It's in 792p yeah, but anyone that has watched the video would not honestly be able to say that it looks last gen at all. The game looks amazing, and honestly the differences between the PS4/XB1 version is barely noticeable if at all. The game looks great, and it looks fun, I'm excited to play it. Stupid resolution click-bait.
So...a bundle of all the worst CODs? (except the first MW was good for it's time). A treyarch bundle would be better IMO.
This game does have great lighting, rain, and particle effect. It looks like it'll be a ton of fun.
The trolls are out in force on this one. The thing is, if you've been gaming for any amount of time at all, you know that systems will always drop price, so if you get one at launch, you KNOW that will be an issue....when PS4 finally drops in price will that be "short-changing" everyone? Or how about everyone that has a Wii U, or any system last gen? As far as Kinect goes, anyone who bought an XB1 knows about it, and from what I can tell from people that own an XB1 the vast m...
