I almost posted this being as it's from a new source, and potentially info from a different insider (but IGN doesn't say who they heard it from). Instead I just attached it as an ALT source to the other article. I Have to be honest though and say I can't believe this will get cancelled ultimately unless somehow Sony doesn't have the rights to it anymore, I can't see any other reason for them not doing it. I have no idea what went on in the background, but if the two guys...
Meh, once again no one will likely be able to tell the difference. Differences this gen are less than they have ever been in the final product, but you'd never tell by the way some talk about it here. There are so many more important things to gaming than these extremely minor res differences. Clinging to them looks desperate.
Admiralvic...don't mind him, he's one of the biggest fanboys on this site, he sees everything that way cause it's how he thinks...look at his comment history, it's pretty sad. If I were you, I'd take away all his "power" with an ignore button like I'm about to do...look at the articles he posts too...it's almost like he goes out searching for fanboy bait.
I have and love all the systems, but I don't hide that of the three my X1 is my favorite...now that that is out of the way.
The idea of ANY console "winning" E3 always makes me cringe. Not sure why really, but it just seems like "winning" E3 would all come down to an opinion of which system has the better lineup afterwards...sure a total dominance can happen, many will point to last year, and I agree that Sony came out looking much better (however, th...
Competition only helps benefit gamers...it's a great time to be a gamer.
@iamnsuperman Everyone is entitled to their opinion, mine isn't better than yours and vice-versa, but I don't get this whole "no games to play till 2015" idea. True, normally it sucks when games get delayed, and some of my favorites have gotten delayed. However, when I take a step back, it almost seems like a blessing in disguise to me. The list of games that I "have to hav...
I can't see Sony doing something this stupid, they would have to be seriously blind not to see how much their fan base wants this game. I'm not ready to believe this rumor at this point.
Well there is no doubt that with a title like this it's gonna attract a lot of fanboy/troll rage...and that's unfortunate. Here we are in probably the best time to be a gamer that I can ever remember since I got my first NES...and for some reason now we can't stop trolling each other, nit-picking over little things, and getting pissed off at people for being happy with something that is SUPPOSED to make them happy. We kinda need to take a step back and realize how spoiled we are...
Well, if it's a new Fallout (or Elder Scrolls not online), I'm sure everyone will say "called it", so I'm not sure it'd be a "surprise", but nearly everyone would be really happy.
Couldn't disagree more. I think right now gamers are getting spoiled more than I can ever remember. There are points about how COD has gotten stale (at least from IW, Treyarch is still good and I have hope for sledgehammer). BF4 was really glitchy, true, but the game itself was great and I have high hopes for future BF's and Hardline. Halo 4 is the best selling and in my opinion best Halo, 343i did an EXCELLENT job with Halo 4...I have high hopes for future Halos. Titanfall was/i...
It's most likely nothing. Esp since Phil has taken over, MS (mostly Phil) have been quick to recognize success in the competition. This is probably nothing more than that, while I'd love to play Zelda on my X1, I have a Wii U that will also play it (but I'd love the achievement aspect to it). I can't see Nintendo giving up rights to a one of their most popular exclusives unless it was a MAJOR shift in company future...and I'm sure something like that would have slipped...
It is a good read, but it's an odd title when the two guys they talk to say things like:
"Stratton told Polygon that his personal bare minimum is 720p at 30 fps, since "anything below those levels is actively unpleasant." However, he continued, "anything higher isn't necessarily a clear improvement." Asked to choose one or the other, he said he'd probably prefer a higher resolution than a higher frame rate, since he "[doesn't] per...
This comparison is a joke, sorry, there isn't much difference...but more to the point if you click on them, you can flat out see that the XB1 and PC version are more compressed than the PS4 version...it flat out says it. Comparison void.
Obvious fanboy clickbait. You can tell by the writing that he was intending to troll. If you look closer at the poll (which by the way there are no details on numbers, age groups, location, etc.) You'll see that 58% of gamers don't want a next gen console AT ALL yet... so...that means that on 21% of the people that don't want to buy and X1 is BECAUSE it's the X1...58% of those people don't want a PS4 or Wii U either... Before bragging...maybe look what you're bra...
Holy crap, I was sure that with its seamless mp, real time weather/day effects, open world, etc it was gonna be less than that....well done ...and that's probably without the new June dev kit with more gpu bandwidth access
MS just can't sit still!!! ...and that's a good thing, they keep bring good things for gamers and all around entertainment. I love having all the systems, but MS truly has made it so I wanna use my x1 more than any other. I can't believe that back in the PS2 days I was slow to get an Xbox cause I swore it would fail. Its amazing how fast this industry goes up and down. Six months ago was completely different. I've always loved my x1 and feel like I've already gotten every ...
Oh I literally started crying this is so funny...my GF and I are actually playing this game right now and I never noticed this before...her and I started dying when we watched the video.
Sweet, a lot of cool little features, it seems like each month X1 just gets more and more refined.
This game definitely was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I played it.
This game has been a blast, I'm glad I picked it up.
Obvious fanboy article. Most of the issues are old issues, some before the console even released (and some that we forget Sony was considering too until they saw the backlash MS was receiving pre-E3...don't believe me, look it up Yoshida himself admitted it...the only difference is WHEN Sony and MS changed their mind on the idea).
As far as the "supercomputer" comment, MS has been very clear that they are talking about the architecture of the X1, not raw power ...
