Gaming on consoles just isn't as big a deal as it used to be in Japan...it's rough there, but great news for Nintendo
One of the better comparison videos so far. This one does show the difference in shadows better than all the other versions. Although to be honest, while the PS4 shadows are more pronounced than the X1 shadows are...the X1 still has them, and honestly in the way they were used in this game, I just like the X1 style better (whether or not it was on purpose). I know people are going to accuse me of trying to make excuses or what not, but seriously, the PS4 version just comes across as too da...
Not sure this is really a fair comparison. Inf will look better of course, but that's because there isn't as much going on "behind the scenes". Watch Dogs is a deeper game, so there's a trade off there.
Another comparison that shows little to no difference between gen 8 consoles. The only time you can see a difference is when compared to older consoles, and slightly when compared to PC.
That being said, this video is horrible for comparisons. The video is almost never looking at the same thing, or even in the same lighting, whoever is controlling the characters is just moving the screen like a madman, and it's on YouTube. All I know is that I've been playing this ...
I thought they already announced this was a timed exclusive back when the game was announced.
Isn't VR motion-controlled gaming? Or are we planning on only looking perfectly straight ahead?
It definitely could be good news. Selfishly of course I want every game to release ASAP, but more to the point I want the game to be good and worth the wait...so sometimes if a game needs to be delayed so that it turns out as good as promised, it's for the best. Being delayed isn't always a sign of a game being in trouble. Plus as weird as it sounds, I have a ton of games to play over the course of the rest of this year and into next....so in a way...delaying some and spreading the...
Well if this is a true representation of gamers in Japan, that's not all that great of news for XB1. However, there is still light at the end of the tunnel for them I guess.
A). We don't know that this is a true representation of Japanese gamers, judging by the % numbers, they don't look to detailed, so it could just be a small poll. B). The source of this poll could be biased anyway...it'd be like holding the same poll here on n4g. I'm sure if we ha...
Based on the little that we have seen, these games aren't exactly my cup of tea, but it appears that MS is trying to gain an audience with the Japanese market. I'm not really sure if this kind of thing appeals to Japanese gamers, but I do know that Japanese gamers have their own style and it's not like us western gamers.
Well fanboys, and those that refuse to see the good in all consoles lose. It's ok to have a favorite, but blind hatred, and making up facts or spinning the truth to make an excuse to hate something just means you'll lose in the end. All the systems and PC all have great things to offer right now. Right now we are actually getting spoiled as gamers, yet we seem to bicker about the smallest things now.
I don't hide that, while I have all the consoles, right now X1...
I'd be down for both of these games.
Well this is the kind of thing that no one likes to hear, but honestly, if it allows for a better quality game, it's for the best in the long run, luckily there have been tons of other game to keep us busy for a while...in an odd way, with all the great games coming out, it's kinda a good thing, so that I'm not rushed to finish games so I can move onto the next. This way I can give them the attention they deserve.
They both look great, what's more important at this point is which is more fun...
That second one is hilarious.
It's good to hear that everyone surrounding this E3 and such is getting excited about it. There is a lot of potential there. However, honestly at this point it's hard to tell what is rumor and what isn't...so it's hard, but I'm thinking I need to stop paying attention to all the E3 hype and just sit back and let it unfold. I'm sure people from all camps will be happy, and I'm sure all the companies will announce things that I will be excited for.
I hope not. While I openly admit that I like my XB1 more than my PS4 or Wii U (or PC), I truly feel that what is best for gamers is competition. If any of the game companies start to feel too comfortable the will lose motivation to produce the goods. So I would like an impressive showing from MS (and Sony and floor show by Nintendo), but not enough to deliver a "killer blow"
I'm not even sure what a killer blow would be. It'd have to be that cloud works...
Well this is obviously just a blatant troll attempt. In fact more so than any attempt I've ever against "Order"...is any one actually doing this? The only thing I've heard remotely like this was from reporters that had a WAY EARLY look at it. They said that while the game looks good that it lacks anything distinct, and that the game at that time was very jumbled.
However, who really cares? That was a really early sneak peak, the game still has plenty of...
There are some differences, but they are extremely minor. No matter which console you were to get it on, you should be happy with it (as long as the game is as fun as it looks and I hope for it to be). I'm pretty sure that if it wasn't labelled which version that it was, that people wouldn't actually be able to tell(esp if just played in real time and not paused or slowed down). I can't remember which dev said it (I think it was the Witcher Dev), but it does seem like we ar...
This game was pretty awesome, it was a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I got it. I actually just traded it back in today though to finish paying off Mario Kart 8...from killing Nazi's to really poorly stereo-typed Italian plumbers.
Looks real promising.
