"I just think that 2020 is too soon for next-gen, no matter who you are."
No. Not "no matter who you are". Just you.
Let's look:
PS1 launched in December of 1994
PS2 launched in March of 2000
PS3 launched in November of 2006
PS4 launched in November of 2013
PS5 will likely launch in November 2020.
So this has actually been one of the longer console gens. And ...
A company being worth billions doesn't automatically make them bad. This line of thinking is short-sighted at best.
It's what those companies do that determine whether they should be defended or not
Having said that, Activision has destroyed one of the greatest game developers of all time and neither of them should be defended right now. Warcraft 3 Reforged is garbage and they deserve to be sued for false advertising a product that they didn'...
@Felix_Argyle_Catbro
No, bro. In February of 2013 all Sony did was announce that the PS4 would be releasing Holiday of 2013. They didn't reveal a price or even show the console. They did all that at E3 2013.
Didn't both Sony and MS wait until E3 2013 to reveal the Xbox One and PS4? And then didn't they launch in October and November of the same year, just a couple months after E3?
Soooooo......why is it surprising that they haven't officially unveiled the PS5 in February?
How can fans save E3? Its sold out every year since they opened the doors to fans, yet companies are still dropping out of it because it's a waste of time and money for them. Especially when the big 3 all have their own conventions that they do.
Also, the article doesn't say HOW fans can save it.
I just remember playing on one of the harder difficulties and not being able to beat the giant skeleton dragon.
Ninja Gaiden 2 was also very hard, and just as good as NG1
Nioh was totally different than Ninja Gaiden...
Don't give Ryu some crazy weakness that interrupts literally anything he is doing in order to do some BS animation of him wincing in pain! That garbage ruined NG3
Yeah.......that doesn't make sense. How can they not be competing with each other, but be each other's competition?
They all want to be the company that is selling the most consoles. Because, as a company, you want to sell as much of your products as possible. That's only natural.
"You got here in 2013, I don't even care about your opinion in the first place lol"
As if coming to the same site for over 7 years is some kind of accomplishment or makes someone's opinions valid?
Now I see what I'm dealing with here lol.
"They executed poorly on RE5 & RE6, so the creative director and producers are to blame."
They executed poorly? What does that even mean? Executed poorly on what? There's no way around it. It you have a more open area where most enemies are zombies, then it can only go one of two ways:
1. There's not enough enemies on the screen to fill the large area, so you can just avoid all the enemies easily.
2. They stuff the...
Drugs are bad, mmkay?
That's all true. But the big reason why the install base won't suddenly shift to Xbox at launch is because people just don't trust Xbox yet.
They drove off a ton of their fans when they announced the Xbox One, and they did literally nothing to win those fans back. Sure they started buying game companies, but we haven't even started seeing or hearing about any games those companies are making for Xbox. And let's not forget that MS already said they won...
Possibly. It's also possible that the Baldur's Gate people that handed the game over to Larian Studios don't want them showing anything yet.
I highly doubt it will be a Stadia timed exclusive. The platform is DOA. I could see it being on PC for a bit before consoles, considering both Divinity Original Sins games were like that. But there's no way in hell Baldur's Gate 3 is a Stadia exclusive for a while.
Oh so you're one of these guys that acts like 7 was trash because it was a first person perspective but ignores the fact that literally everything else about it was classic RE. Got it. Now I know not to pay attention to your RE comments anymore.
"Those of you that complain seem to lack comprehension that creative game development with the correct care and attention can make any game design great."
No. People understand that perfectly fine. Its YOU that seems to lack comprehension that Resident Evil games work best in confined, claustrophobic areas. You used Dying Light as an example and mentioned more open zones. That goes against everything that makes Resident Evil great.
RE 4, 5, and...
This whole game looks awful.
Have you not heard that they ARE making a Dark Alliance 3? Well then, my friend, let me be the first to let you know!

There's a trailer for it too, but it's quite possibly the worst trailer I've ever seen in history.
But it doesn't matter, because in the ne...
