Oh I realize theh never made Warcraft 4 because of WoW's success. But I still blame Blizzard. They are the ones making the games. At some point over the past 20 years they could have made a Warcraft 4 lol

I mean, they're games for the PS4. So doesn't that make them PS4 games? When you walk into a store that sells games, do you say "I'm going to look at the PS4 games", or do you say "I'm going to look at the same games that I can buy on all consoles, plus some PS4 exclusives"?

The article isn't totally wrong. It is a sad state of affairs when MT's are so common place that everyone just instantly expects all games to have them. But that's also why the article is wrong. Every few months? Try every week. You can find some kind of new bad news about Bethesda and Fallout 76 every single week. Every 2 weeks at most.
While it's definitely not unfair to say Bethesda got a free pass over the years, it's still a tad misleading. Sure Bethesda was always known for releasing somewhat buggy games. Yes. PC generally gets the different editions that come with in-game items and things. But I don't think they usually get these editions with statues and maps and things. Mainly because PC doesn't really make physical games on disc anymore, and these are very much physical editions.

The Blizzard of old would have NEVER let a game release in such an unfinished, buggy state. They were known for holding games back as long as it took in order to release a quality game. Even if it took multiple years to do it.
