I keep seeing people complain about the story and calling it "forgettable". It seems to be the biggest complaint.
But lets be honest with ourselves. Most games do have forgettable stories. Its rare that a game comes out with a fantastic story that has gameplay to match.
I totally agree. I love Halo and I love Destiny.
Vrimoire are just cards that unlock on Bungie.net. they tell u back story and lore.
I believe the amiunt of grimoire you earn will also get u some gear, but i could be wrong about that.
If the coins are really so rare then i would think it wouldn't take a whole lot of them to get good gear. Thats just talking logic though

You don't see conventions coming out and saying, "hey, this is the hetero gaming convention". Why? Because it would be considered descriminatory...
There's no denying that it is very Halo-ish.
The vehicles, the gameplay, the dropships that come in and drop enemies are almost identical.

You need to re-read the article and underatand what they are saying, because you clearly missed the point.
They said it took closer to 18 hours, and I believe that because i've got about 8 hours in and i'm only level 6 and i've only one mission in to the moon.
I also haven't played any Crucible matches or Strikes yet. Only story missions. In all fairness, i replayed 2 story missions to help level up my buddy, but still, thats pretty impressive...

Do i experience the game for myself before looking up guides online? Absolutely. If some chump wants to look up every little thing online on his first playthrough, thats on him.

Yeah, i never understood it. People always saying digital is the future of gaming, yet on both xbox live and PSN, thw games are so expensive. The only time you get a deal is if the game u want judt happens to be on sale at the same time you get it. Otherwise, its expensive. Most times a lot more expensive than just going to Gamestop.
Not that i don't love Diablo 3, because i do. But its not sold out anywhere in my town.
My only complaint is that there are only a couple different looking guns for each type. Also, armor is all very similar looking per class, just different coloring. For all the customization they claimed would be available in this, i'm a little let down by that.
I love everything else though.
I played last night for 4 hours and only reached the 4th mission and leveked up to 4.
I'm happy.

I stopped going to Metacritic when Battlefield Bad Company 2 came out. Quite possibly the best Battlefield to date, and there were still morons posting reviews giving it a zero, and saying, "It doesn't have Call of Duty in the title."
