I think you missed the point of the whole Dark Knight trilogy. The fact that Batman is a symbol, not just a man.

Also, Bruce left instructions for Joseph Gordon Levitt to find the Batcave and he even repaired the auto pilot on The Bat, his flying machine thingy and fixed the Bat Signal. Bruce was obviously leaving the Batman mantle to JGL. So no, neither Batman, nor Bruce died in TDKR. Did you really watch the movie? Lol.

My big question is whether or not Silent Hills will be 3rd person or first person perspective.

I'm leaning toward 1st person, simply because I find it hard to believe that they would release a playable teaser and NOT make the game the same way. What is the point of the playable teaser if it isn't showing what the final product will be like?

"Hey everyone! Play this teaser of the Silent Hills game we're coming out with! The game won't be ...

Also, lets not forget that Kojima is a Sony fanboy. I know that doesn't necessarily mean it won't be on Xbox One, considering Metal Gear games have been released on other systems in the past, including MGS Ground Zeroes and MGS5.

But its still worth mentioning that if Kojima had his way, I'm willing to bet it would be PS4 exclusive.

I'm indifferent. I think making a game exclusive is a bad idea, almost anytime its done. All ot does is lowers ...

I didn't make your point at all. Not once did I say those games could have started out as first person shooters. I said that they could have easily kept those games in the same genres as their originals, but they chose not to.

Also, lets not forget when Zelda was changed from an over the top action RPG to a side scroller for Zelda 2. My point is, genres have been changed quite a bit in the past.

Also, i understand that you feel like Silent Hills will stop...

Holy crap. Could this article have been written any more poorly?

Anyway, never played The Witcher, so I'm not too excited about this one. Batman is a must, of course. Dying Light looks really good too. I'll wait to see what people think about it though. The Order just isn't interesting to me at all. I have no plans to try it.

The Division is my number one game I can't wait for.

So its called Interstellar Marines, but you only play in some training facility undergound in Nevada? That sounds a little disappointing. With a name like that i want to be going on missions across the universe fighting various alien races.

If this game has seriously been in development since 2007, like others are claiming, how are they not further along? This preview made it sound like there is still a very long way to go.

There is also a helmet in this game calle Guise of the Colossi. If you put it on it changes the appearance of your character to look like a Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus. It doesn't change any of the stats of any of your armor or anything either.

I've been playing video games for about 27 years so i know what you mean about getting burned out. Especially when most of the quality games these days seem to be made up of FPS and mediocre 3rd person action games.

But if you played the older Diablo games then you know what to expect. Sure levels, enemies, and loot are all randomized, but this might be the first time i've heard someone say that is a bad thing.

The randomization keeps the game fresh. ...

It sounds like your "real gamer friends" have never played a Diablo game past their first play through.

Once you get up in the higher difficulties, it becomes extremely strategy oriented. You really have to know how to build an effective character if you are going to survive for long.

It isn't just a matter of mashing the same buttons over and over again. If your character isn't effective then you won't last long.

HDBLUVD is right around the corner. Those discs will be able to hold 10x's as much as blu-rays. I'm not worried about it.

How does this make Nintendo "genius"?

Microsoft had customizable faceplates when the 360 released. This is hardly an original, or genius idea.

The writer brings up Seanbaby's article about setting a woman on the train tracks to watch her die in Red Dead Redemption?

Would it have been better if it was a male that you do this to?

Not only that, but what about the very strong female character i Red Dead Redemption? You know, the total badass that ran her father's farm because he was getting too old. The one who saved John Marston's life? The one that comes to his aid, nurses him back to hea...

Well then people are going to be really pissed when they find out Arkham Knight is a clone of the Joker. Either a clone, os some of Joker's genetic material being used to create a new person. There's also the possibility of Joker and Batman's DNA being combined to create this character. Either way, the Cadmus Labs involvement pretty much confirmed this for me. I could be wrong though.

Think about it. The whole Arkham series has been about the Joker's career ...

Absolutely.

Before I had a daughter i spent about 2-3 hours after work, M-F, but on the weekends I put in a good 24 hours, I would play all day until it was time to go drinking with my buddies, lol.

But a child is more than a full time job, so I don't have the time. :)

Right, but reading the comments here, it seems like a lot of people consider casual gamers to be people that don't play a lot of video games. Unless I'm misinterpreting some of these comments, which could be possible also.

I would like to know what people's definition of a "casual gamer" is.

Is it someone who just likes easy games? Because if thats the case, then I think a new name should be thought up, because the word "casual&...
