The only reason is because MS replaced my consoles for free. After I sent it in I had a console back in a week. They at least handled it well on a customer service level. They would even replace it for free outside the warranty date. That is literally the only reason I kept my 360. Then when the Elite came out it fixed the problem.

That isn't true at all.
I kept my 360 on a glass surface, not on its side (because if you stood it up on its side it blocked vents that blow out hot air), and kept it clean. I STILL had 3 of the white consoles get the RROD. The first one happened a month after I got my launch console.

I got my first 360 on launch day. One month later I got the RROD. After that, over the next few years I got it 2 more times. It wasn't until the Elite came out that I stopped getting the RROD. It certainly wasn't "promptly" fixed.
The only thing I can say is that Microsoft replaced all 3 of my consoles for free.
I went through 4 Xbox 360's. It wasn't until the 360 Elite came out that I never got the RROD again.
So until Switch has that kind of a problem, the title easily goes to the 360.
There's definitely changes, but lets not pretend that ME1 was a hardcore RPG. I think people forget that the only thing that made ME1 any more of an RPG over the sequels was the gear that you got. But the gear was mostly useless. Guns and armor was given too liberally with almost nothing being worth replacing what you had. All of those releases for the Wii were within a month. People keep using the staggered release of the Wii as a crutch to say that is the reason ghe Switch is selling more, but its actually irrelevent. Basically, by March 25th we should be able to compare the numbers. But since the Wii had fully launched within 20 days, its fair to make the comparisons now as it was all within a month's time, just like right now with the Switch.

I'm waiting. 3DS is apparently done (which really sucks). But it all depends on what games come out. Once a new Fire Emblem, Pokemon, and hopefully Monster Hunter release for it I will buy it. But I NEED those 3 games. If there is no new, updated Monster Hunter then it will be a big factor in my decision.
But I more than likely won't get one until those are actually released. They are the 3 big titles I always buy for my 3DS. Hopefully we can get a proper Metroid ...
Sony and Microsoft do the same thing. Why do you think they sell out on launch day? Its because they don's ship enough product.
To be fair, Xbox and Playstation are in higher demand so when they sell out you know they will keep selling when re-stocked. So your point is still valid. But again, no company wants to have a surplus of units, thats why there are never enough to go around at launch.
If you're holding out for one specific game to be free then you are going to be severely disappointed every month.
Also, if you want Layers of Fear so bad just buy it. Why sit here and wait for it to be free, something that might never happen?

The same happened to me. I also went through 3 consoles. I didn't BUY all those consoles. MS replaced them all with new or refurbished consoles and it happened again to those. Thats what people mean when they say the they wen through X amount of consoles.
