But yes, apparently they leave after the events of Mass Effect 1 but before the actual Reaper Invasion. To pinpoint it a little more specifically, I've read that they leave the galaxy during that span of time when Shepard was dead in the beginning of ME2. What was that, like 7 years that passed?

The first one had a lot of problems though. Also, full price at launch for an MP only game is fine. This released with bare-bones content. Only 2 modes that were worth a crap and only 2-3 maps per mode. That is downright insulting.

Entertainment is entertainment. What people do with their free time is up to them. If they enjoy it, more power to them. As long as it isn't hurting anyone.
I believe whether or not a game has a manual comes down to the developers or production company. Its the same now with X-Bone and PS4. Look at the Witcher 3. That game came with 2 books and a sticker. Most games only come with a little slide insert advertising something or nothing at all.
I doubt Nintendo is telling companies they are not allowed to put books in their games.

Thank you! The only thing that made ME1 an RPG is leveling character stats, which could be done in every ME game, and all pointless weapons and armor that all looked the same with a different color paint job. There was literally nothing else that made it any more an RPG than the rest of the series.
Maybe there will be an awesome community out there once all the casuals get tired of it, but right now, I only play 1v1 because the modes with more people defeat the entire purpose of having a 1v1 based combat system. However, in 1v1, its really irritating that everyone plays as the Orochi, simply because the fast characters are OP.

The combat system is fantastic. I will give you that. But the game itself has no depth and seems pointless. Especially when anything outside of 1v1 completely destroys the entire of point of the 1v1 combat system they created. Getting double or triple teamed is next to impossible to survive.

If you play 1v1 it gets old very fast. But the combat system is built around 1v1 encounters. So when you have 2v2 or the bigger matches it all comes down to who loses a team member first because then people start getting double teamed. Because the combat system is built for 1v1 battles getting double teamed is next to impossible to win. Its like they stabbed themselves in the foot by making all these modes for all these people...
I don't know that I'd say that. 5 is pretty low, but to be fair I got the game Tuesday and I'm already pretty bored with it. It just gets old pretty quickly. It has other issues too like the 3 fast characters being overpowered. Everyone plays as the Orochi (Samurai fast character) in 1v1. The other characters just can't attack quick enough to win. Even with light attacks.

Considering that knows the target date the Scorpio will release and more than likely is fully aware of the progress of games being made for it, I think its safe to say that he is right and probably knows what he's talking about here.
He wouldn't come out and say something like this if it wasn't a likelihood. He would want people to think that there will be tons of support at launch so more people will buy the console early.
