I would agree but if he really wanted to crap on it why give an 8? It just doesn't make sense.
This is the most ridiculous review I've ever read.
The author spends the entire article whining and complaining about things that irritated him, yet he gave it an 8 without explaining ANY of the strong points of the game. If a game is an 8, I expect most of the article to focus on all the great things in the game, and then spending a small amount on its few flaws.
You would have thought this person hated Persona 5 and was scoring it a 4 or something....
You have a strange way of looking at things. ME is basically Dragon Age in space?
They couldn't be any more different. Sure RPG is a genre. But there are also many sub-genres to that. Open World RPG, linear RPG's, turn based RPG's, action based RPG's. They are all very different.
They learned nothing? They maxe a killing. If anything they learned they can keep the same business model and people will buy it.
When there are so many people in the comments section of all these Mass Effect articles saying they are enjoying the game, why on earth would you say this is a "shill review"?
It may not be a perfect game but there are clearly many people that are enjoying it.
As are most people that actually played it.
My wife calls me the 10 Second Ninja.
Why does this matter?
I've played through all 3 Mass Effect games and never had anything gay happen to my character.
You literally have to go out of your way to have a gay relationship, hell even a straight relationship in this game.
If you don't want to see a gay relationship play out then don't choose conversation options that make you hit on a person of your character's same sex. Its literally that easy. It isn't ...

I'll reply to this even though you'll probably just call me a fanboy like that other guy.
I've come across 2 glitches in my 15 hours of play:
1. My character's voice track didn't play at the beginning of a conversation. But as soon as the other person talked it was fine.
2. An enemy's dead body was floating in the air.
I will also say the facial animations can be a little weird at times, but i...
I've never played a Persona game before and this wasn't even on my radar until about 2 weeks ago. I checked out a 15 minute gameplay video just to see what all the hype was about and instantly fell in love. I pre-ordered it as soon as I was done watching the video and now I can't wait for next week.
Between this, Mass Effect, and Horizon Zero Dawn I have the next few months covered.
Lol, this review is horribly written and it sounds like a 10...
@SCW1982
Whats my point? I think I made it pretty clear what my point is. Too many critics bashing the game over minute issues and too many people jumping on the band wagon and trash talking it even though they haven't even given it a chance for themselves.
Also, my point is that i don't get all the hate. Something else I mentioned in my comment. But hey, at least you've proven to everyone that reading comprehension is not your strong suit, ri...
Because it isn't a terrible game.
I don't get it. I haven't come across any glitches that are anything crazy. One time my character's voice audio didn't play when i started a conversation, but after that first sentence it was fine. Another time an enemy that died was floating in the air. But so what? That has happened multiple times in my playthtough of Horizon. Its not a big deal.
Other than that, sure the story could be better, but it isn't abysmal or anything. And yes, facial animati...
@ EDMX
And those things you just mentioned havent happened once in my 15 hours of play time. So they are obviously rare occurances.
This isn't like that Assassin's Creed game that released as an absolute buggy mess that everyone experienced. The game runs solid. I mean hell, even Horizon Zero Dawn had dead enemies floating in the air. So it isn't anything to be concerned about.
I am a comic collector. I've been collecting for 30 years.
Iron Man has always been one of Marvel's poster characters.
Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man. Then in the 90's Wolverine reached a level of popularity to be added number 3 on that list, right behind Hulk.
Aside from Spidey and Hulk, very few people outside the comic reading community really knew much about Marvel characters in general. They knew Spidey a...
First, read the article. They aren't talking about making an Iron Man game. They are talking about how making movies of Uncharted and other games could lead to good video game movies.
Second, never mind the fact that Iron Man has been around since the 60's and has always been one of Marvel's most popular characters. Yeah, lets not look at that though.
And what isn't appealing about flying around in an armored suit thats armed to the teeth ...
Lol.
How to walk in ME:A
I mean, it tells you right there on the screen how to unlock those slots. Right underneath the locked slots, in fact.
I have yet to come across any glitches. Im about 10 hours in. If glitches are a problem for a game then 10 hours is more than enough time to see them. They must be extremely rare occurances that people blew out of proportion, or maybe the patch they released fixed most of them, because I'm just not getting any of them. Story could be better, but its entertaining enough to keep me invested in it. Faces can look weird, but you can also create characters that look perfectly fine. And if not...
Not only that but this takes place so far in the future that the people in the world don't even know what car keys are, they call them "ancient chimes".
So if they don't know anything about our present time or our people, then how in the hell is this inappropriate?
I understand they are talki g about the devs use of the words, but come on, they are called braves because they are brave warriors who stand up to the machines. They call the ...
