I also don't see why they can't go for 1080p with every HD remake.

@ buddymagoo

So if they spent that much money on advertising then where's the ads? Like mastiffchild I haven't seen any either.

That's mainly due to the heavy eye make up. I think she looks quite fit and I mean in the health sense. She obviously works out a lot. The way you can tell is that her arms actually look toned. If it was just eating nothing then her arms would be skinny with no tone at all.

Funny, I was going to say the same thing but then it was the very first comment here!

Considering how how slim and toned she's looking I'd say "ample chested" is spot on.

Right, I'm going to read the article now.....

The characters in FFXIII were largely forgettable but I think that this is mainly down to the narrative. If you felt more involved in the world, it's history and felt that you really understood why things are they way they are in the world (without having to read an encyclopaedia) then you would also understand the characters motives better and so care for them more.

Although, the cut scenes went back 13 days before the story of the game I felt that there wasn't enou...

I felt compelled to say "yes, have what it takes, as long as they're making HD remakes of the good final fantasy's!".

But that's not really fair. Thirteen wasn't all bad. It had good character and enemy design and great graphics but thinking about it, that's all visual stuff. My biggest gripe was the story. Not the actual story itself but the way they told it. In the days of old RPG's history and context was done in dialogue, either between t...

@farhad2k8

You are absolutely right, if it was a phone it would have been able to make phone calls. Well deduced, my good sir.

I think my real point was not about phones however. It was about there being legitimate uses for GPS without an always-on data connection.

In regards to Geotagging, I don't really see people wanting geotagging enough to restrict their photo taking to just wifi hotspots. In fact, I don't think Sony see the Vit...

That indeed is amazing.

I was even more impressed with the low energy separation of oxygen and hydrogen. That could actually make the fuel cell car legitimate alternative to petrol.

I did think about it, and I came up with a few scenarios. The Vita is a multimedia device right? So is GeoTagging deemed as something that isn't worth while?

What about mapping applications? I use gps without data to see where I've been (either on walks, trips through a new town etc.) and then I get back to WIFI to apply the GPS data to maps.

These are both quite legitimate reasons for having GPS without a data connection and I am sure there other exa...

Any one notice the early incentive.

Crystal Black limited edition and Crystal Black initial limited edition.

The "initial" variant has 100 hours of prepaid data as opposed to 20.

Edit: GPS only for 3G/WIFI version?! Am I reading that right? So not WIFI only model?

Nutz! I am moving away from Bristol just before this happens. I can't believe my luck.

While I agree with what you are saying on the whole, there I some things I am not so sure about. For example, what categories should be standardised? For things like graphics, it should be easy. A game either runs at a consistent frame rate or it doesn't. It either has high resolution textures or it doesn't. Pretty simple right? However, things like this don't sum up what a game really is. Good graphics don't necessarily equal a good game.

It's for this r...

Yeah she's alright but it's really grating the way she talks. It is the same way presenters talk on kids programmes designed for 3 year olds.

I understand that reviews are opinions etc. etc. but it's really strange that sometimes reviewers see the exact opposite qualities in exactly the same games. Sessler here says it's different and fresh while others say it's the same and does nothing unique or new.

I guess I'll have to play it myself to find out which I think is true.

The final comment is an interesting one. Did we really need Resistence 3 to push the envelope or should that be saved for a new IP? If it is pushed too much it could go the way of FFXIII and change too much so that people just want it to return to it's roots.

I think Insomniac played it safe but in a good way. They seem to have delivered something solid and enjoyable which, for me at the core, is all I really want from a game.

This isn't really a tutorial. It's someone playing the tune.

You know, I really couldn't ever be bothered to sit down and try to transcribe a piece from a video. There are both better things to do and other pieces to play.

This is nutz.

@Godmars290 - thanks dad.

So it's just a new marketing push? There's nothing else?

5257d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

I find myself mostly agreeing with the negative argument. Especially the points about narrative. I felt the voice-acting part is unjustified though.

And bring back mini games! I think the only break in game play in XIII was look for Sazh's chocobo(!?).
