Is it the story themes?
Is it the style of play?
Or is it the 12 year old looking girl with the massive breasts?
That we have become desensitised to the violence? We have to ask ourselves why do we want to see violent images, why do we get pleasure out of seeing people ripped apart and being in agony? I agree that the author shouldn't just have singled out God of War but I think he is just trying to use it as a case in point and that it was the imagery he describes that first made him ask the question "have we gone to far?".
God of War has a massive fan base so I don't expect many...
The wii is way to cemented in peoples homes now for anyone to come in and steal market share.
The trailer was a little underwhelming. And the woman talking was just plain annoying......
I am new to god of war so I read this to be brought up to speed.
After reading this, why don't I like the Kratos character? I supposed that I was meant to like him to want to play as him but the truth is that he is selfish, violent and vengeful. He exists only to kill his next target and if he doesn't have one then tries to rule by killing more people in his way.
From someone who has played the game; is this how I am supposed to feel about the Kratos character?
I have just downloaded Flower but I have only had time for a quick go so I can't talk about the game.
However, I like what this guy is trying to do. I completely agree that the game devs are just "playing it safe" and just creating games to appeal to our more primal feelings. I wouldn't mind having my other emotional chords plucked every now and then.
We all know the game he is referring to with the female character death. I cried at that scene as well. I...
Im new to God Of War so....
If Kratos can't die, which is what the trailer indicates, then surely he is more powerful than anything that can die, no matter how big or powerful they are?
So what is the point in sending all those enemies after him?
Edit: This isn't a statement, this is a question, so I am asking for some opinions....?
Edit 2: Please read the first statement in my comment........
to a white audience, it just might be.......
World Ends with your was developed by Jupiter. I think they had a cash injection from SE (i can't find source, sorry) so you might see SE on the dev list as well but it was a Jupiter game.
Square enix just published it.
with a BJ mouth!
I should know, I have about 10.
but what really puts the nail in the coffin of JRPGS on the 360 is fact that they have been BAD JRPG's on the 360.
The projection was obviously based on these games doing better than they did. I don't think this revised forecast has anything to do with recession.
I agree with the naive point you made the most. I think africa was chosen as a location simply because it's location rarely used in games and never used in resident evil. Nothing more.
if it's not on the iPhone. Not that i have a problem with I phone games, but merely that I don't have an iPhone, lots of people don't, so why limit the potential audience?
Yes they do, and why is it that games can't do religion as well?
I think the reason is quite complicated actually. Briefly: The gaming entertainment industry (as a serious movie-rivalling medium, not casual games) is still quite small. This means for games to make any serious money they have to be good which is expensive. So to if a game has a religious context then it is immediately eliminating potential buyers from the already (relatively) small hardcore market. Devs and publis...
More enemies, more polygons, more variety.........did we expect anything less?
Just think outside of the law for a second........but I wonder if it's possible that there was genuine feelings behind the relationship? I'm not saying they should have had sex because the law is there to protect young people from being corrupted by perverted older people. But, the article says they spoke for 4 years, he met up with her thinking she was 18. When he learnt that she wasn't he should have backed off completely but what if he had genuine feelings for her and that's the reason he ...
I hope it lives up to my expectations!
but what about graphics and music?
Or are those categories too positive to review?
it definitely sounds like something I could appreciate and, maybe even more so, something my girlfriend will appreciate.
Amazing.......
I'm not offended by it. In fact I prefer it, well, not just the massive breasts part (although that's always nice) but the lack of muscle men and gore.
I just hadn't seen the screenshot of the girl before so it just made me chuckle, it felt like the game was now truly Japanese.
