@Digital
I mean...sure there's some disparity in the amount of light present in environments but the way you're categorizing it is still baffling to me. The scale looks relatively the same and it's been intended to be a 'dark' game from the start so...I still don't buy your personification of its changes.
Let's avoid claiming to "tell it like it is" and proceed to provide the gaming equivalent of Charlie's conspiracy wall ( https://www.technobuffalo.c... ).
You're talking about enthusiast press wherein the big three literally have 'official' platform-exclusive magazines for themselves and every major publisher has been gui...
-"It's every single other demo that has been shown before this one."
So, I decided to do a bit of digging based on these prerequisites.

You're either exaggerating your rhetoric with "way different" & "way better" or don't really have a clue what you're talking about. I'm not trying ...
Nah, was put on hiatus after development got out of hand. It's a fascinating story of a Kickstarter-funded game stepping back from bloated design.
Ouch. They're doing so poorly when it comes to stock.
@Liqu1d
In regards to (bug) scale, that's totally incorrect. Some of NMS' most popular reviews feature awful bugs that were common throughout its launch.
-"Anyways, for my suggestion that units sales be included in an aggregate scoring system to seem such a severely reprehensible recourse to you shows that you have an obvious bias against such a variable."
What could've possibly given that away?
-"Debates with a focus on science and fact also rarely reach resolve when bias is involved on one side or the other, so on that note..."
But your suggestion is grounded on...
-"...at the end of the day whatever games society are buying the most of are the games they enjoy the most."
It doesn't take more than a momentary glance to look at the psychological tricks employed in F2P mobile & facebook games to show pure "enjoyment" isn't locked-in-the-hip to popularity.
-"Besides, let's be truthful: It's one hundred times better than whatever system IGN writers are relying upon now.&quo...
@trooper_
"It's your fault for expecting more out of the game than it was advertised."
But what about for believing what was stated by the game's creative director?
What? Attending LGBTQ-centric gaming conventions should raise some kind of alarm of a game's quality?
I'd implore you to be *very* cautious of what you're insinuating--in no way regarding moderation history just account history/decency.
*Sigh* Alright then...
1.) Where have I used such terminology here? And if you're talking about my past discussions in the modern gaming parlance, that term is put to literal everyday use--from list wars to the very advertisements on this site (see Ni No Kuni II). It's less about me "having" to use it as it is delineating what we mean when discussing exclusive + multiplat games. And I don't see ANY PS4 fanboys getting in a tizzy over the usage when...
Who said it wasn't special there as well? Why are people having such a nagging habit of bringing up a different platform when the discussion is SPECIFICALLY prefaced around consoles only? Weird phenomenon, I guess.
@William & Ceasar
Both of you ought to bring up links (even detailed reddit posts) to at least support your claims.
I'll be honest: the very notion of you suggesting 'units sold' should even be considered for a 'Top 100' formula is more insulting to the judgment of quality than IGN's placement of the two oh-so-random games you highlighted in your above comment.
-"PC is one of the tags."
Well sure. To be expected when the article's about physical sales. But that's not really relevant when you're responding to an ORIGINAL comment that goes out of its way to make the point about Ubisoft's work on "all consoles."
-"If you are going to brag about your race car you can't ignore the guy crossing the line ahead of you."
Considering the original comme...
...he literally prefaced it right before then with "they did a great job on all consoles." It should be presumed he's not going to bring up PC.
You can't settle for anything less. Sacrifice a lamb on the altar, get an X, and join the brotherhood.
But seriously...it all depends on your situation and preferences. Having a solid friend or friends having the console would be a bigger sticking point to me than how many pixels can be cranked on screen (not that that doesn't have an influence either).
I mean...I'm not against the 'spirit' of your message (maybe?), but what you're effectively hoping for is a company to not advertise its product's advantages over the competition.
So you're telling me there's a chance I'll see you on XJuan? :P
The world needs Gex remasters now. Series is like a time capsule of obscure 90's references.
