Those will be in the action/adventure category.

"It wasnt in the least bit funny to me."
I mean...ok? You don't have to be Einstein just to know the definition of a word. By affixing "cosiest" to it, EDGE is casually using to talk about corporate propaganda you could find in virtually every review. Think about it: what better way to disseminate the superiority of your new controller than with a built-in game you can't delete on every PS5? When you think o...
"Cosiest Propaganda – Astro’s Playroom"
The only way you can take offense to EDGE's intention there is in not understanding the flexibility of the term 'propaganda.'
Judging by the general consensus, there is something more condensed and thrilling about it. I'm just starting to take a crack at it, so I can't say for myself.
-"They’ve latched on to a simple sound bug or texture glitch before."
Citation for this one?
The first one was quite underwhelming, but I'm hopeful this one succeeds.
What if that potentially never comes? Would hate to know you missed out on a great game.
I mean...an 8.5 immediately slots it in for GOTY nominees. It's just shy of hitting that 'outstanding' mark. Not too bad of an outcome.
He's not the easygoing type. ;)
Haha... maybe not the worst comparison. The thing I liked about Poochie was The Simpson's responding to the idea of 'cool' being the only character trait in a mascot. Knack's bland delivery of outdated phrases doesn't even amount to cool for me imo. Part of the reason I gave up early on those games is how uninteresting he sounds & feels.
Astro to Baby Yoda is almost 1:1 in likeability.
I'm really glad I waited to play this.
@StormRage
Absolutely agree. I hope my first response didn't imply otherwise. Personally, I have more respect for MS' 2020 outing than if they'd just released Fable, Gears, Forza, & Halo in the same year. The eclectic mix of different niches being filled by them is really impressive. Everyone involved in the XGS Publishing wing deserves a bonus.
In terms of current relevance? They've really diminished throughout the course of this gen. They've carved out a nice niche on the VR space, but it's simply not the same. Didn't they have funding issues a few years back too, leaving one of their studios to be really limited?
I'll admit: I find that rhetoric really inconsistent too. 2020 was the first year we've seen several of their new studios in action to some extent. Ninja Theory & Obsidian have released smaller passion projects this year either as 1.0 release or Early Access. That spouted timeline IS RIGHT in respect to upcoming AAA games, but let's stop pretending middle-market games don't exist either.
I'm really lost at what you're trying to get across. Microtransactions don't need to be "snuck in" when those have been around since the beginning of this generation. Gears 5, Halo 5, etc. have supplementary monetization in order to avoid the previous trap of map packs & whatnot.
@No Way
They did indeed. They've *expressed* their wish to remain independent atm, but that could change in the future.
I appreciate that comment, SonyStyled. It seems expected that they would, right? Several of these vets across the first line of purchases have crossed paths numerous times throughout their career. I think that's a fair insight they OUGHT TO be considering as they move forward.
Indeed. Yeah, it's mentioned in the piece too. This "acquisition bloodlust" is quite a surprising turn.
Out of all of those, I can see Asobo being the most fitting choice.
"Hello, traveler. Welcome to the United States of Microsoft."
It's been one of the most flexible game genres for a while now.
