Hope everyone enjoyed the review! Feel free to leave any comments. :D
To put things in plainer terms than the review: find a way to play Vanquish. Whether you purchase it for cheap now, rent it, or borrow it from someone, you truly owe it to yourself to try out this game before next-gen arrives (if you're one of those instantly jumping on the bandwagon). Heck, it only falls short of a GOTY nominee because of how great a year 2010 was (imo).
I believe brand loyalty is at its best when focusing outside the one(s) they're loyal to. After looking back at all the criticisms, defense forces, and more, we can safely say that overly critical nature of fan/fanboys about the problems with hardware/software from those competing with their favorite brand has probably resulted in giving the best info for honest internet-goers seeking the best console for X purposes (depending on the time they asked the question).

"...but then again I'm a fat guy with a juvenile sense of humor."
Good point. I'm not sure if that humor will carry over to a bean with a cool sense of humor. Worth a try though! ^^
Is it bad that I still want to try out Sneak King? :/
Ohhh you're just too cruel to him. :P
EDGE recently posted their review score and gave it a 8/10. Even though I didn't like how 2033 turned out, I pre-ordered this because of how promising everything about this game looked.
?
This article is just a harmless looking glass on something that actually exists in the gaming culture. It's examining how the 'Male Power Fantasy' has a purpose for existing, not placating what you're suggesting.
@ your 2nd comment above
The "adolescent male power fantasy" is a quote taken from Warren Spector and used solely as a springboard for his discussion, not something the author agrees with.
Edit: wrong reply
"Did the same person review the first Metro?"
The problem with Edge reviews is we don't know who specifically typed up the review. It's always labeled "By Edge Staff."
"They gave Metro 2033 a 6/10 (yes they did..)"
And? In my opinion, the 360 version or even the more-highly praised PC version, which wouldn't have had the amount of mods and updates from devs when Edge reviewed it, should be more than content with that score from the review copy shipped to them.
Surprised to see such an agree/disagree ratio. :/
I think that would be a great idea just to see their focus on an interesting art style rather than stylized realism of the Uncharted series.
If there's one thing I can commend it's your consistency to use your title to reaffirm us this is in fact a review for X game. :P
Solid review, chris.
Most of what Snookies12 said is correct. If you want the prize money in the form of an Amazon gift card, you only need to respond to the ticket and Cat will send the code in another ticket reply around the 3rd week of this month (typically).
For Paypal: Yes, you need to give your email address
Haha Oh man...I remember that time. Ever since that inquiry, we always use "LostDjinn's chances of winning" as a template for some of our jokes.
Be sure to gift me a copy. [o_o]~
@SeraphimBlade
Well earned. When it comes to those obscure (to me) titles you reviewed this month, this is what came to mind:

Addendum: No runner-up mentions? :(
Congratulations, winners!
*Looks attentively for any mistake made by Cat*
I...can't seem to find a problem. You can't even give me that prize, Cat. D':
I can only see it worth that price if you really want another killstreak-based multiplayer game. If those compliments and problems mentioned in the last few paragraphs of the review still make you want to try it out then go for it.
Friendly tip: Mods don't seem to like us posting a site's list in the comment section. One of mine a few weeks back was marked as spam.
That's an enlightening piece of info. He seems to be someone who wants to help the little guy on all fronts.
