Well the things is: I'm not excluding the chance of it being an "exclusive" for both active PS consoles (in production), just going after the notion of it not being possible to release as a PS3 game.
"Or, even crazier, Agent hitting the PS3 in 2014?"
Given Sony's and third-parties' dedication to the PS2 after 3 released, I wouldn't consider it to be THAT crazy of an idea.
Note: If a term like "cross-ge...
"For all we know, Rockstar put it on ice to work on other things.."
Their answers about Agent's development cycle in the past prove otherwise.

We might not know how many were working on the game at a time, but they've never indicated its development was shelved for the time being.
How can you be so certain?
-Been in development for years, meaning costs are probably high
-PS3 has a current userbase of over...80 million
-Number of PS4's at launch will be a fraction of that
Or did you mean 'there's no way it's a PS3 exclusive?'
Given that Metro 2033's DLC of the same name cost $3 on XBL, what gives here? So difficulties have now been arbitrarily decided by MS to deserve a price bump?
"Perhaps publisher Deep Silver feels that if one audience has to pay for the content, the others must as well in the name of keeping things fair."
That--ironically--comes off more as being unfair to the consumer, especially when THQ put forth the effort to make it free on whichever platfo...
Well...the better reception of 2 certainly drove up sales. Even then, the first one sold over 4.5 million ( http://www.gamespot.com//ne...
I'd consider that a surprising IF you've heard the plethora of inane comments he's made since '08 inauguration.
On topic, Biden's proposition doesn't sound correct either:
"Like the protected books, plays, and movies that preceded them, video games communicate ideas—and even social messages—through many familiar literary devices (such as characters, dialogue, plot, and music) and through features distinctive to the medium (such as...
I think the popularity of it now is b/c (according to Koch Media) "1st parties" have required this mode to be sold at $5 on their respective stores. I don't remember an official report about this until just recently. It's a shame to see Koch get all the flak for THQ's terrible foresight--or perhaps THQ knew they would have to charge extra as well.
?
He only agrees with Prcko about $5 not being that much. The rest of his statement provides something different from what Prcko's says.
The XBLA version is probably one of the greatest remaster attempts of this generation. FPS' have certainly moved forward a lot since then, but looking at the ambition in content + variety for an N64 game it'll blow your socks off which ideas hold up today.
"I'm not saying they shouldn't, what I'm saying is that the issues that this poster complains about are still valid separate from who says them."
He mentions the controversy about Starcoon up above so that's not entirely true.
I wouldn't go that far. It was certainly a case of being a terribly unoptimized shooter that had broken concepts (****ing stealth) but deserves a bit of credit for breaking new ground in the "survival FPS" subgenre.
The problem is the pointlessness of demanding free DLC to do the game justice. Whether you're disappointed with the game or not, there's no reason to also drag in how irrelevant this free extra is in your eyes.
There's little difference between this example and one giving a bunch of diatribes against his/her favorite restaurant's poor cooking of the night after seeing prompt service from the valet.
"Spam is things like trying to sell things in the comment section."
I've been marked for spam for posting one of whatculture's lists in the comment section, so no the term extends a bit farther then that.
"I didnt even know retailers had the stones to do this."
Yeah, I recall one of the first Annoyed Gamer shows explaining how the "get x gun at Gamestop/new armor at Best Buy/etc." DLC extras were actually the retailers' fault. Since those pre-orders drive revenue to those stores, eventually they figured out they could strong-arm publishers into doing this or they wouldn't sell the game or simply feature it as much in their advertisements.
No, the ranger mode addition was free for PC users. That tiny pack cost $3 on XBL.
I'm guessing a bit lower in your case? If so, I can understand that. I suppose to me it was the surprise of all the flash that sometimes mixed into being considered substance and how well those controls worked. When thinking of other third-person perspective games with such unwieldy movements and then being blown away by jetting at incredible speeds EXACTLY where I intended was pretty darn overwhelming.
I had to pry myself away from it the first night because I had to ...
Thanks, 4M. One of favorite bits of dialogue:
"What should we do?" (<-can't remember who asks)
Random Marine: *in solemn tone* "There's only one thing left to do: pray."
Lt. Burns: *grrr* "Good thing I'm an atheist. Bravo team, MOVE OUT!"
Quite a few of those lines were delivered with such a hilarious attitude.
Nah, haven't tried Binary yet. A few of the forum-dwellers here mentioned it before but I haven't attempted to dig up anything else about it. Hopefully, I can try it out soon.
And thank you for comments, Ultr. :)
"That's something that anyone can just PM the author about and say 'hey, I think I can help you out with your blog's grammar' and leave it at that. "
That typically seems to be the best sort of action for those inconsequential problems. I also find it an easier course because the text boxes are big and allow for someone to thoroughly discuss each English problem they notice. I can't stand keeping track of my report message when 6-7 words is all...
Given Deep Silver's poor example in this situation, let's just go with the rational, all-encompassing answer: corporate greed ruining the industry little by little.
