Somehow I just knew Folklore would make the list. Still need to finish it too. :P

"Far Cry Instincts is better than the original."

First time I've seen (or heard) that statement.

Cool beans. I was tempted to pick up Instincts Predator but often saw others claim it was lackluster. To those who've played all the main ones: where does Far Cry rank iyo?

Is that just a subtle joke against n4g's mood swings with CoD? (If so, well done)

"No one demanded a sequel to ‘The Catcher in the Rye’..."

"Brazil, arguably the best movie ever made (check it out!) had no sequel, why couldn’t BioShock be the same?"

"Nobody wanted Rain Man 2, because it would have been a contrived mess."

I'm anticipating a follow-up to be titled 'How To Stagnate The Point You're Emphasizing.'

Yeah, adding up both games and DLC brings it to sixteen bucks. Not a 'Humble Bundle' level discount, but still pretty good.

Meaning...it would be in the same position as it started. :/

Funny enough, I just recently purchased it on steam too. Now I'm a bit worried about some of the default controls. :(

6 when considering Quantum Break.

It's almost too surreal to think of when EA announced the death of the online pass so many anticipated what dreadful idea would be enforced in place of that tactic.

For those that approved this blog: was the image link not broken for you when this was in pending like it is now? If so, make sure to inform that poster of the mistake so it can be corrected before reaching the front page.

o_o

That's a very good deal.

Come to think of it, that sounds closer to "Giant Enemy Crab" level of fail. I mean...Ocarina of Time's fish would move out of the way too.

"The whole point of the conference was to show what the new Xbox could do, to reveal the looks and the new features. they said that many times in the past, why is it so surprising now?"

Who said anything about it being surprising? What I'm expressing annoyance against is how said features were presented. Taking so much time in unveiling 3rd party stuff only considered partially exclusive via DLC or "The Ultimate Team" EA SPorts extra, superfluous Xbo...

Indeed. Cat warned me about the negatives, but the one important positive that always came to mind was this: "have a bunch more bubbles so I can brag about it to LostDjinn." :P

"It's going to get messy in here though..."

Probably. I'd like to state now to other posters: please don't bring this down to a mud-slinging contest regarding other consoles, verbally attacking other posters, or any other infringements upon the rules ...

Pedanticbeans strikes again! ^^

Nevertheless, I agree with your frustration of the event. What really irks me from this poster fallout here (and elsewhere I'm sure) is the "wait for E3" counter-argument. I'm not saying that's a BAD notion to bring up, only that it doesn't lessen the blow of MS' obvious intentions with this device and where they're trying to push forward.

There's no better time to give a clear indicat...

Needless to say, I'm shocked a user blog is up on this so soon. :P

Also, didn't they mention Remedy's Quantum Break was an exclusive to the system or did they make no statement regarding that?

I contend there's a few entries that show signs of creativity (to varying degrees). I'll be the first to admit Black Ops' psychological premise is stealing from Fight Club (or whatever came before it), but standing by its ludicrous convictions the whole way through supplied some good twists.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. The thing you have to remember about stories for a series like this are almost certainly designed with the set-pieces, locations, and stuff first in mind and then filling them in with context (which will be his job). I'm not 100% sure that's how it's always worked for CoD, but I recall that's how ND operated with Uncharted so I'm figuring something similar here.

The most I can see him doing is making the dialogue de...

I was rather surprised to see our 8:30 showing (in one of the most popular theaters in this area) on Friday wasn't even close to being a packed house. Since I still find Abrams and co's typical action-movie focus for the series to be a bit sacrilegious, I'm not going to say I feel sorry to see this news.

"According to Paul, the old testament doesn't even apply anymore to christians."

That's not exactly true. When weighing in what laws "carry on," examination of Leviticus' tenets can be separated into 3 categories:

Ceremonial
Judicial/Civil
Moral

Since New Testament passages bring up 10 Commandments and Jesus provides further understanding to some of them, it can be understood that the Moral r...
