Seriously! I mean... what's next for the artistically-daring & well-treasured Activision under MS now? Yearly scheduled Call of Duty sequels with no end in sight? Just imagine how their name will be tarnished now. smh
"We have Dino Crisis at home."
Not so much top 25 for me, but the spread of the top 100 has a few of those surprises.
Tetris is - unironically - better than any God of War.

That's why I said "to me" there. I personally put it at a flat 3/10 upon completion, but there's something tempting to see if any fundamentals (past fps & basic movement) have also been tweaked.
Halo: Infinite - 8
Take it from me: it's best not to drum up "muh bias" claims on this just b/c they didn't like a few titles. We already see that shit enough when Sony fans cry about them daring to score a PS exclusive below the MetaScore. And it's not like a 6 is a dreadful score by them. Hell, I think the most flagrantly bad take is the generous 6 for Redfall. Even the text was acting exceedingly nice towards it.
Will Redfall ascend to a mid looter-shooter? That's actually... an intriguing question to me. Akin to viewing it like a science experiment.
Yeah. Hell, that edition's review line-up is stacked with potentially meaty dissections.
Yeah. Between Cocoon and Chants of Sennaar, puzzle fans are eating good right now.
You're a big reason why N4G should add a Community Notes feature.
You could also lay waste to the Gungans as a blaster-wielding Obi-Wan. Such a goofy gem in the world of licensed games.
That's fair. Just to give you a comparison of other emo indie games of this style: Life Is Strange (Season One) worst parts are less insufferable than this imo. It's hella easy to throw shade at Chloe's cringe and whatnot, but at least Don't Nod's writers know to weave enough plot, character development, etc. alongside its lesser writing qualities. If you filmed me playing this like a Office/Parks & Rec mockumentary, I'd look at the camera at least once per half...
True, but they only need one game to *really* pique people's interest: Half-Life: Alyx. I'm still shocked that port hasn't been announced yet.
I mean... if they're a group that ostensibly started a year ago I don't see the fishiness. A new collection of hackers would naturally want to build up their reputation by hitting big fish.
EDIT: Or maybe they just started? I don't know. It's weird to use "September" without implying it was [last September, or you'd just say "this month."
Same. Gives off low-grade Newgrounds vibes.
:D
Responses like this make me appreciate the new owners lifting comment time restrictions. (Used to be 1 week before something was "too old" to comment on)
Congrats to Larian for their continued success. I'm *somewhat* suspicious of Goodbye Volcano High's overzealous praise, but will give it a fair shot.
Ok.
I'd lean closer to a 3/5 myself. It's one of the weird examples of being an "indie game crown jewel" that I simply don't strongly connect with after the musical part in Episode 2.
@Christopher
How could I forget?!?! Just more nefarious things MS is going to sneak in when no one's looking.
