"just follow Wario64 on X"
I think following him on twitter is more convenient. ;)
@Profchaos
Your thoughts on The Eight Pages (freeware game) seem closely aligned with me. Even at the beginning, I found the execution to be flawed. But what I'm arguing is I think someone *could* make a good Slender game. Amnesia: The Bunker can be a good place to look as to how it could be done were he the sole villain.
An important note: this update is free *if* you bought the OG Steam version before. Not the case for next-gen consoles, sadly.
True. If there's one takeaway I'll consistently have for Slender Man, as a property, is its rise to prominence from humble origins. I think Amnesia: The Bunker would be a great foundation to look at for new ideas too. There's still hope for him to star in a stellar title, but Blue Isle (or another dev) has to look past this incongruent mishmash of templates.
Huh? lol
Only a matter of time. A shame too b/c it had some cool ideas.
Still lacking a Best Puzzle Game category after such a phenomenal year is a total joke. Some of the best game design is born out from that genre.
-"I know sub 4 ratings are specific to something truly broken"
They really shouldn't be though.
All things considered, it's *actually* not a long-winded slow game.
I'm crossing my fingers and my toes!
Successful submissions net more points than comments (unless you're going hog-wild while posting).
Where did you hear that?!?!?
Hard to say, but its current buzz suggests it'll fare better.
What's the ultra-offensive score this time?
Yes.

-" where do you get the idea this game was doing better bug wise ? A couple biased articles bought and paid for by MS before launch ? "
Jesus. You understand that's in relation to Bethesda's reputation, right? That's the general consensus I could glean from articles & review to buddies who've played it.
-"The general consensus online seems like it's broken and boring, with hope...
Really? I don't mean to cast doubt on you, but that's genuinely surprising to see. I didn't expect it to have a *stellar* reputation on bugs, but the general consensus I've seen is it's Bethesda's "cleanest launch" on that front (at least in 1.5 decades or so).
EDIT: I did see the pic you posted too. It's shocking to see.
-"I just feel that almost every Marvel theater release is more about fan service than plot service."
I would've partially disagreed with that during the Phase 1-3 line (depending on which one), but I really can't with current stuff. lol
Beat me to it. While I still immensely enjoyed the 2nd half of Far From Home, so much of MCU Spider-Man stories feel so toothless. Even the *BIG* twist of the last one is (reportedly) being disregarded. Like, these are just one-off things that happen until the next smarmy Whedon joke says "so, uh... that event was a weird one, right?" and onto watching the next product.
By the team who made 80 Days, so it's certainly piqued my interest.
