I get that vibe too. It's funny how it lulls you into that kind of mood until you see someone get angry and hear the harsh quill scratches in someone's speech bubble.
I mean... there is one solution that seemed obvious from the start: don't discriminate against hiring someone solely based on their race. If someone can proudly say "Civil Rights for me, not for thee" without receiving any sort of legal or financial repercussions then the country's liberal principles are blatantly counterfeit.
It's especially weird for Foamstars too, given some of the glowing previews.
-350 Fallout 76 / 500 Starfield
That part is a jump in quality though. lol
1.) It's kinda confusing how some people are running with this line when she's not the Full Story source above, only linked within the piece. It's standard practice for a writer to source their primary outlet that called attention to it. Apparently LOTT was the first to blow this info up?
2.) When you use such loaded language as "caused" bomb threats, there should be more teeth to that then sharing suspicious info uncovered at a children's hosp...
One of the worst remake/remaster decisions I've seen to what I consider a classic.
-"An objective analysis is being able to recognize that some people will find it tedious, while others will love every second of it, and then basing your score on that overall knowledge."
But all of that is seemingly achieved just within the description posted above! lol
-"Rating the game as an overall experience, rather than taking a part of it that you personally weren't into and then basing your entire conclusion around that. And the...
This can't come soon enough.
You understand he detailed *why* he found it boring both in the review and the description above, right? Again, I just don't get what counts as earning an "objective" analysis by your rationale.
-"a professional reviewer to give an objective analysis"
What exactly is demanded to reach this threshold? Because 9 times out of 10 it seems like conforming more to everyone else, regardless of one's own unique complaints, is the motivating factor to be considered "objective."
What a random title. lol
Not gonna lie: early July would've been a prime month to flex a new AAA IP. You can talk about quality (can't say for this one), but there's a sound argument to be made about timing here too.
Nah. The story is more like mid-level cheesy fun: there's genuine moments but not enough consistently there.
Never II late to review Alan Wake II.
-"Why can't Crystal Dynamics just lean into racially insensitive stereotypes like I want them to?"
You're not supposed to make the questions sound so based, Christopher. ;)
That's perfectly fine too, but I don't think that detracts from Peter's main point: there's a gap between COTM & what HL: Alyx accomplished as VR-only titles.
-"If you like the more recent Suicide Squad movie, you'll probably enjoy the story/dialog in this one."
Maybe it's just from what I've seen/heard, but it seems way more insufferable than Gunn's Suicide Squad. I'm still tempted to give it a fair shot though.
(Not to elevate Gunn's The Suicide Squad either. I was warmed up to it being some zany masterwork when it really felt like an enjoyable 6/10 movie.)
What are these useless stats for a single-player game?
Probably didn't get enough time in it to make this edition. Expect a review in the next issue.
I'm not surprised to know a scholar would enjoy it. ;)
