Nice write-up, Herobyclicking. The style looks pretty cool too.
Steam version please.
Like the robot western theme going on.
It's a shame to see that sort of info on whose attending the mobile development conferences: more suits instead of more developers.
Steam code pretty please!
"What element of game design do you hold above all others?
Exquisite pacing - and freedom of choice! :)"
That's two choices! :P
"Play on: PC, Mac and Linux, PlayStation 4 & PS Vita and the Nintendo 3DS. It is coming soon to Wii U."
Yeesh...it's like the Xbox One is plague-ridden.
Looks pretty interesting. I have the other two Sherlock Holmes games from last-gen I still need to try out.
I gotcha. Well, gl with winning, CMan.
I don't get some of the above reactions tbh.
Nice, simple read. Interesting to see you enjoyed it so much.
"A feature that I fancied, that seemed to have been borrowed from Mass Effect 3 and improved upon, is the gear customization, which affects your weight, stamina and movement speed."
That was new to ME, but that's been done before.
Would be neat to see this take the leap to this-gen consoles. See how the community reacts to its tougher design.
Already released in January of this year.
The mainstream shooters like BF3 and 4 (in competitive multiplayer) have bullet drop too.
"Why should people play Insurgency?
If you're a shooter fan, Insurgency is necessary to play so you know and understand the intensity of what it's actually like to be shot at."
The Panj Gameplay convinced me that seems to be what they're going for (hooray for first-look vid). Not exactly AS ecstatic to try it out compared to other indies brought up, but still has my interest.
Not gonna lie: the team's certainly jumping into the genre when many are expressing how tired they are of it altogether, kind of like how MoH: Airborne was to WWII shooters. Still, the intense look of the difficulty could give it its own support. I'll certainly take it over artificial difficulty marks that feel more cheap than tough, like modern-day MoH games.
I'm very interested to see how the final version of Storyteller turns out. Looks like a great concept.
Interesting interview. I really like the idea of Duval. While I can't say I've been blown away by the final products for some of these mentioned, I like seeing that South American background in games like Papo & Yo and Rock of Ages.
Not unless you're a rockstar like me. :(
Seems like a pretty versatile developer. I think I heard Today I Die mentioned on Extra Credits before.
Weisman decided to pull the olde "Star Wars Legends" move on it? :P
I'm a bit tempted to pick it up to see what all the fuss is about if it's online is still active.
Could be fun.
I'm glad to see how dedicated they were to ensuring Kickstarter promises were held.
"After that - we're not *quite* ready to say anything right now, but we'll be announcing something in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!"
Once again, no fake crying or any sort of sobbing effort by Fogknight to squeeze any more juicy info out of them. Dang it! >:(
That screenshot on the IndieMonth front page drew me in instantly.
