Just in case anyone's unfamiliar with the Consumerist Warning down-mark up above: it's not meant to contradict what I mentioned in the written portion. When considering instances like this and future titles I may review, similar questions regarding dollar-per-hour value are bound to creep up. I think this just serves as a sort of "flashing indicator" to anyone ...
This seems like such a strange line of reasoning I've seen from this and another (couple?) comments above. If someone of an already-ill reputation calls out anyone what effect does that really have?
One of my pet peeves with this is the notion of "forgiving" a company. I don't know...I guess that kind of a qualifier has always applied to me as person-to-person.
Anyways...
While I can understand the severity between both situations, I don't like this notion of letting a company off easy b/c excuses like the rarity of 4-in-1 Halo multiplayers pooled together or "it's just the competitive matchmaking" (which has been the cas...
"...will be getting it and another Xbox."
Not enough. Get three more.
More on topic: it's funny which escapist reviewer came to mind the instant I saw this score. Judging by its glowing reception elsewhere, I don't this will be as..."infamous" in its praise like the previous entry.

"yeah this is completely stupid, lets see who is corrupt friends are."
Otherwise known as guilt by association.
It's strange to see things like this come up: assuming one's personal career decisions are actually about an entirely separate issue not even discussed by him.
Next Tuesday (in US, at least).
Yeah, I thought they specifically mentioned "last-gen" focus on this.
Never know what the future holds though.
Checked his patreon page and he mentioned the traditional advertising/sponsored-content method of getting paid has been making him more and more uncomfortable.
He's goes into more detail on his patreon page but that's the jist of it.
While I've only played two of those games listed (so far), I've noticed a lot of fan feedback for this year has expressed disappointment with how this year's popular games were delivered. And while I wouldn't be surprised if I become radically disappointed with some of those other games, the lower-tier stuff (budget wise) seems to have impressed. Ubi's arcade titles, another SuperGiant release, and even a damn Swery65, Kinect-focused, episodically-structured release gett...

It was only a day or two ago that I knew this game existed. Has promise to be a wonderful title.
Yeah, that's what came to mind when I saw the original title.
Ranks up there in the top 10 of last gen for me. Also considered PS3's best exclusive to me until this whole announcement happened.
"The technical concerns are very few from these reviews and for a package that is essentially this gen's Orange Box..."
That seems to be something addressed more often than you're insinuating. Even the likes of IGN have suggested it varies between all four of them.
"The technical concerns are very few from these reviews and for a package that is essentially this gen's Orange Box"
That's a bit of a false ...
That's such a strange demand to leverage against what's essentially just an aggregate score. Some technical concerns are being addressed by some but that's not to say many critics aren't enjoying the game; which means you're more than likely going to really enjoy it as well.
That's it.
Do you have a specific link for that?
"Competition is open to all N4G users, except for employees of HAVAmedia and immediate relatives. Contests are not limited to the US/NA. Note: Moderators do not receive remuneration, are not employees of HAVAmedia, and are eligible for N4G monthly contests."
Bring it! I can get My Cousin Vinny down here in a heartbeat!
Word.
It's funny that would occur b/c I shortly thought about the off-beat chance of winning shortly before. Since a lot of typical users needed to cool down during the glut of released Driveclub reviews plus the cap at 8, I figured participating mods could actually have a shot.
Congrats to winners. Spend it wisely.
Thanks, DarkOcelet. I did indeed go into settings and try to crank almost everything down to the lowest available settings at the time (maybe they patched in more options later). The only think I kept above the lowest was the 720p setting because the 480p option doesn't take up the full screen, which I don't like.
While not the most graphically intensive, SWTOR is an MMO that can keep pretty stable for me on the lowest settings, just longer loading and minor hiccup...
