Wait...doesn't D4 stay up for another month and Worms Battlegrounds gets kicked off?
While I enjoyed reading through the text of the review, I got annoyed with those -- between each paragraph. It's a minor thing but it just seems so unnecessary and distracting.
But do you wonder just how many people sold their PS3 system just to get a PS4? How many of those will be more tempted by temporary rents than going back and repurchasing a PS3 system that probably doesn't have PS1/2 backwards compatibility, which Sony has promised PS Now will have some 1/2 BC in the future?
That's why I worry about how high the numbers might be for PS Now/streaming and its further popularization in the future when something like the PS4 is selling ...
You're free to submit reports of an article, even after it's been approved, or bring it up via ticket if there's anything guideline-infringing about it. I didn't really notice anything about it that did.
If you just have an issue of 'quality control,' or just don't like some opinion pieces that have been submitted, shouldn't your complaint be aimed at the users approving them?
Yeah, that was definately one I remember constantly brought up--and with good reason imo. But you can nominate multiple things anyways, and TF's MOBA idea mixed with its FPS hybrid structure was a pretty interesting nuance to the formula.
Cool mods like me should have their noms counted twice. ;)
Surprised to see the Innovation category so slim in choices. Guess I was the only one to bring up Titanfall after all. :(
Which games did you find to be the most important games last year?
(Note: not trying to be demeaning or anything. Just genuinely curious since I haven't gotten around to playing this and a lot of other 2014 games that I could look at towards the future)
Hmmm...interesting. While I saw a lot of complaints against PS Now latency issues during beta, it has seemed to quell a bit under certain conditions. Some reviews mentioned the experience was pretty solid, but what still has me suspicious is the circumstances the reviewers put themselves in. Since it is/will be available on a plethora of different devices and there's such a great disparity between the minimum requirements to the best connections available in US/UK/etc., I wonder how ma...

I'm worried about getting into the habit of being late on the latest news. Bring up points in the Better Quality Control...only a day or so after Steam curators is announced. Assess PS Now and game streaming...only for MS to announce their own kind of plans on this. Always behind on topical stuff. :(
I personally haven't had an issue with Season Passes as a concept if the developer is totally open about those DLC plans. The likes of Respawn, Naughty Dog, etc. say with a straight face what this will include and the price. Moments like Gearbox's handling of Borderlands 2 are definitely one of those cases of it getting out of hand. And I get the principle of disliking the idea of "taking it on good faith" and releasing this pass the day of the game's release, but eve...
That's essentially how I've thought and talked about in the past (dat voting bias). While there's certainly some reasonable complaints to make against their system, like how they keep some cards close to their chest in regards to most/least influential sites, but it's still just data when it's all said and done; a tool for the consumer to critically consider if this game will be enjoyable to them.
Blaming metacritic for the ills of lost developer bonuse...
Now onto actually making my own short original post.
I suppose the first thing that struck me is this flip-flopping between now and sometime early last year with that silly "don't want games to be art" blog you made last year. But I guess it's a new year so maybe a new leaf or maybe the earlier one wasn't intentional in its intent. I can't say for certain.
As I've gotten the notion from some of your past blogs that I've thr...

'I want to know where Cat stands in all this because surely she can't support this. It's like "Oh Cat's on leave...we can do whatever the hell we want'
That's silly speculation to suggest the person with which she entrusted to handle day-to-day stuff on here while she's away would make a move totally contradictory to what she thinks about this topic.
@SpiralTear
-"You said yourself that people accused Lucas for portraying racist themes in his work. If you meant "stereotypes", that's not the same as racism. Racism is prejudice."
I suggest you re-read my first reply carefully: critics and fans brought up the racist underlying feeling (undertones) in Ep. 1. As we now know, this was noted due to the racial stereotyping of specific characters. Yes, racism is a loaded term but being wi...
For me: it's less about the idea of them keeping consistency then it is what they seemed to be aiming for and confident that they would reach it, and this BS shifty language reminds me of Ready at Dawn's and Ubi Montreal's nonsense from last year.
From some interview quotes of an ND dev hyping Last of Us Remastered by saying 60 FPS makes all the difference last year (or something along those lines) to now have a ND developer willing to sacrifice a higher framerate...
@SpinalTear
-"Your George Lucas example puzzles me because if Lucas isn't a racist, then why did they call him one?"
You're going to have to specify who "they" are and point me to these sources. Whenever such a loaded term as racist was brought up against Lucas' work, it was against the stereotyping of specific characters/alien races in Episode 1, not a full-blown attack on his character. It'd be especially surprising for...
Congrats to you, IXA. That's WAYYYY better than what I had in mind.
I know this is going to be contentious (there's probably some scienfitic observation to it as well), but my experience with variable framerate doesn't really bother me when it's striving towards 60 and doesn't go up and down rapidly. I liked having the option in Titanfall (x360). Obviously, the best solution would be in ensuring that 60 is locked; that would be the least-compromising for the end-user experience.
I'm actually shocked anyone could suggest such a thing as a higher standard for frame rate could ever compromise the player experience.
N4G asks a Niiiinnnnn-JA:
"Is Nutjitsu any good?"
Well...here's your answer. I initially had WAY more jokes involving Hollywood actors/actresses + goofy commentary but then I remembered how super-duper objective I have to act.
Anyways...
