Seems like a sort of simplistic list focused on AAA titles, with a small helping of lower-budget stuff. The Order never really struck me as anything more than the first half of a high school student's creative writing project turned into a game. Several important unresolved plot threads, generic characters (save for the cheeky French guy), cliched from top to bottom.
As much as I really like Life Is Strange...eh...I'd still be conflicted about that on the list too...
Not arguing lists b/c I find PS4's 2016 to be quite impressive, but...
"Yooka-Laylee"
this isn't exclusive. Heck, I kick-started at the console digital copy level and selecting Xbox One as the platform. Its successful backing has ='d it to be a PC/PS4/Xbox One/Wii U multiplat, according to their own campaign page.
Yep, I'm calling BS on that.

If we're to go by howlongtobeat.com's average that's almost 50% of the game right there, and they're unskippable too might I add.
A few chapters of the game are ONLY cutscenes.
You can expect that kind of poor pacing scattered throughout the whole campaign, unfortunately.
From the description right before the previous text I quoted: "I don’t mean it’s bad, that the reviews were wrong, that the people who liked it were dopes, or even that I didn’t like it."
He actually puts a fairer spin on what he means by "overrated" than you're giving him credit for.
From description: "It just means I’m surprised more people weren’t more critical, that the conversation wasn’t more often about ways the game could have been better."
Even that kind of metascore is kinda nice.
Well, it all depends on the game, really. Stuff like Halo 4 and Forza Horizon series can get slammed by him with 1/5's but other stuff can get really high scores.
The thing that's imperative to consider is this scoring system directly reflecting something like Netflix's scoring system. Regardless of a game being a technical powerhouse (from a PC/console perspective), but if he hated his time well...it's going to get a harsh score.
Yes. The PS3/PS4 version of it released...either last year or earlier this year. And I believe there was a Vita version as well.
A little slow? I've sat through pretentious art films that could be considered that; THIS is slower than molasses even by the standards of a typical walking simulator.
I do agree that it has one of the best soundtracks of the year, but that's one of the few things it has going for it.
I'd say absolutely IF you come in understanding what the gameplay's about. It's really just down to typing specific words into a search engine to find new videos that piece together this mystery. But I'm amazed at how glued I was to that simple concept. It's like the game equivalent of some cold-case detective rewatching old police videos.
Click the DMC: Devil May Cry hyperlink. The most recent article with that DMC tag has WindWaker as its article picture.
Yes. New stuff will be included.

They previously mentioned more stuff will be included here. Stuff that was initially left on the cutting room floor to make its release.
I honestly didn't dig Max all that much. Fine experience, but didn't leave the biggest impression on me.
Brothers on the other hand...well that's one of my favorites of 7th gen.
Actually, Wii-U is the only 8th-gen console that initially sold at a loss.
No, it's just "one of [the] many reasons [he] dumped [his] PS4."
Indeed I do. I'm surprised to see the most charming speaker of last year's E3 was in EA's conference.
Oh boy! This'll fit it perfectly with my Force Awakens 12-piece Action Figure Set, Kylo Ren Helmet and Lightsaber, smartphone-controlled BB-8 toy, LEGO Star Wars Rey Speeder, and LEGO Star Wars First Order TIE Fighter.
I'd have to--respectfully--disagree with that to a certain degree. Now I don't object about video games stories oftentimes focusing on gameplay vs. story and whatnot, but when combating your typical story-focused/cinematic-heavy video game vs. your typical film I'm not left seeing this huge disparity.
"If the likes of Until Dawn was a movie, it would sit on rotten tomatoes with a score of 20 or lower."
If sub-par stuff like that Maze Ru...
