I like ya man, but that argument is so dumb. It had Pikmin 3, Dragon Quest, Wii Party U, frickin MONSTER HUNTER and the mario games. It had plenty of droughts but those games helped the Wii U sell over a million in Japan pretty quickly.
It's not like just because there was a drought the Wii U sold 0 units its first year. An entire year of sales is a huge advantage.

Although as someone who is usually looking at this site through my phone, the issue of ads throwing me into the appstore or interrupting me with a video are minimized compared to what it used to be. This site used to be borderline unviewable on an iphone because of those ads.

Article's point isn't that the PS3 is crap, it's that it is worse than the PS1 and PS2.
I personally agree, i came to like the PS3 last gen but I would take either of the other two any day.
IIRC MGS 4 had a scandal like this. I can't remember the exact details, though. Truthfully i dont know how anyone reviews a game as big as MGS 5. I think the only reviews that do any of the games justice are Matthewmatosis' (excellent, intelligent youtuber if you don't know him).
