Elaborate?
Havent gotten to hard yet but i agree. The difficulty made this game way more engaging. Other metroid games werent very difficult unless you tried to sequence break i guess.
@Crows90
Glad you speak for all fans. Honestly, the past few years of gaming has taught me to cherish the classics. Ive spent a lot of time this year playing 6th and 7th gen games. Theyre more polished and complete than anything i see now. The way it goes is me trying a game like Back 4 Blood or 2042, seeing it is a nostalgia bait cash grab. Hmm… oh Binary Domain is BC, guess i’ll give it a shot instead.
Agreed that it’s a waste of energy to be racist. But thats beside the point. Do you think they were right to remove the character?
I would think it’s just as equally a waste of energy to let >1% of a player base ruin aspects of videogames to the point of removing content that isn’t even racial. If they switch over to the Scream guy and roleplaying as Klan members, does that deserve another removal?
The Xbone outpaced the 360 for a while too. The 360 didnt start doing big numbers until after Halo 3
The only way it is lower is if you get the Digital only version that is even harder to find than a base PS5
Exclusivity has nothing to do with the quality of the game, so the question is irrelevant
The other two games are gems but i dont even think ppl who liked Village would call it GOTY
Agreed on the battery design. Thats boring.
But on heroic, i definitely had to zip around with the hook to get the better of at least one boss. Overrall I like the bosses and theyre pretty good for a game that has never had good bosses aside from the Scarab
I liked QB and enjoyed that gameplay over AW but it doesnt lend itself to sequels v well. I think it was perfect as a stand alone game.
Idk, on some level it feels like ppl are expecting this to be COD or BF where guns are balanced around each other. Old school Halo has always had situational weapons and you keep a BR for 80% of engagements. The brute shot for example was perfect for pushing ppl off of objectives or derailing vehicles, not so much in 1v1 situations.
The Ravager is very useful for area denial, Hydra for aerial vehicles, Heatwave and Cindershot for doing damage around corners etc.
...
The trick with the cindershot is to aim for the ground and let it bounce before it hits. Or even bounce off walls on to objectives. I dont use the ADS function it has, too weird. I get a killing spree every time i grab it just using the hipfire.
It’s weird, i didnt feel great about the game either. But everywhere online is lauding it. All it takes is gimmicky setpieces to win people over? The main thing i dont like about the newer BF’s is map design. I feel like theyre just gonna be doing 10 lane Operation Metro for 128 players instead of 5 lmao.
@Darkborn
Have you been living under a rock? The main complaint of Halo is it tries to hard to evolve and mimic other big franchises instead of focusing on the sandbox that made the Bungie games good.
Infinite is being praised for recognizing what made Halo, Halo.
Obviously MS will survive without Halo. But Halo won't survive if this game doesn't do well. It can be a great game, but if it doesn't attract a dedicated base equivalent to the older Halo's, it'll all be for naught. MS won't justify putting in all that they have into Infinite into a sequel if it doesn't justify it.
At the same time, no matter how big it is at launch, it has to be a great game to keep people interested. It needs to be both great ...
For me it was Animal crossing. Had some fun with it but lost interest like i do all AC’s. Last Switch Game i really liked was Fire Emblem in 2019.
Honestly, i like the core SMT games over Persona. Darker, moodier, with better music. I love Persona too though
The first Evil Within did really well, the second didnt because many didnt like the difficult, buggy EW1 that promised to be survival horror but really was a successor to Resident Evil 4
I personally love both games
I’m loving the way this game feels. It feels like the natural follow up to 3, more so than even Reach. It’s very refreshing as someone who has had trouble getting into MP games these days.
Why would Halo, on two platforms, be able to compete with Fortnite, on every current console + PC + mobile
