The more Days Gone i played, the less i liked it. Game feels generic, sorry. Just because I don’t like the game doesn’t mean I didn’t give it a chance either.
We have a difference of opinion.
Yeah that port was actually crazy impressive.
I just don’t see a reason why it cant be a new IP in that case.
Red dead 1’s online was so fun. RDO was a disaster at launch with MTX and nothing fun to do
I miss that era.
Something feels so… sterile about the end of last gen and start of this one.
100%
Siren is the type of game I desperately want to enjoy - the gameplay just isn't fun, the game isn't scary, and the puzzles aren't challenging in a cool Silent Hill way, they're just esoteric as hell. I think the idea behind it is ingenious, it just needs better hardware to get off the ground.
Alien is way more dynamic and less scripted than Outlast. Also way better artistically.
It wasnt a perfect game, but it was an incredible foundation. Held back severely by 360/ps3 too
Got Yakuza Kiwami 2 for 4.99 😎
This is what I was thinking too. The backstory and actions of that character might be perceived as an attack, which is dumb. Who is to say a cross dresser can't be a villain?
I just think Code V deserves a remake because it has easily aged worse than the other games (though still very good). There are parts of it that are very spooky and imagine if they leaned harder towards the moodiness of some of the settings over the campiness of the acting.
For me the game running 15% slower is worse than any bug
DC was the first polygonal console to consistently deliver 60 fps, that must be what you’re thinking.
Honestly im not impressed with the output of either dev lately. Outer Worlds was polished but i found it very unengaging. Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 (Bethesdas most recent games) barely feel like RPGs at all to me.
I’ll be pleased if either Avowed or ES6 actually feel like a generational leap over games like New Vegas and Skyrim.
Takes up shelf space as opposed to the DS, the design wasn’t catered well to the US market, and as cool as it is it just didnt need to come out.
Not true, they always run at the same resolution they do on 360. They might take a hit compared to the One X which upscales to higher resolutions, but the framerate is way better than 360 or One X
I think the only games ive played where it was worth it is Spider Man, Control, and Metro Exodus. The rest it adds nothing to justify losing framerate and resolution
There were also articles discussing the influence of GTA 3 and Shenmue when they came out 20 years ago.
This. I think people are taking the idea of BOTW’s influence and turning it into “but BOTW didn’t invent those mechanics”.
No it didn’t, but it seems like a lot more games are having a lot more of those mechanics after BOTW made use of them.
Honestly, it's worse than you say. I'd say we haven't had a smooth BF launch since Bad Co 2. BF3 had horrible exploits at launch with the DART and the USAS frag rounds, as well as just general glitchery. BF4 had a notoriously bad launch. BF1 wasn't too bad but still very glitchy and missing maps at launch. Then Bf5 was rough, and now 2042 is the worst of them all.
@Raider
If youre like me and dont like sports games, totally worth it to play with friends every now and then.
To each his own
Not seeing how this constitutes “going woke”
