I dont think ive ever heard this. I couldnt find a source for it online either.
You can download courses to keep
Viva Pinata is actually a really good game, too.
The problem is MS and everyone else thought the best thing to do was make sequels and remakes of existing IP’s, but the studio itself wanted to make new ones. I still maintain if Nuts and Bolts wasnt a Banjo game, it would’ve been a modern classic.
At least Sea of Thieves turned around and became a success.
Whats the point of playing a lightgun game with a controller…
I thought the Medium was okay. It would be a nice surprise if Scorn turned out to be pretty good. Feels like middle market games can hit good visuals and art, but never keep up in the gameplay department.
Its crazy how popular Splatoon is compared to other shooters in Japan.
I got the next 2 years booked for $2.50 a month
The problem is current gen is growing too slowly because of supply that could get worse.
They did - for 360 complete with some new textures, 60 fps, abd new character models like the Perfect Dark remake. Then it never got released due to licensing problems
Splatoon is so popular in Japan. Shows the power of new IPs, or at least 7 years ago it did
Show me another game with the level of customization as this, without microtransactions.
Having a lot of fun and played the first two a lot, feels good to play a complete game again.
It cleans up some of the stutters and frame drops. Its stuck on the Pro’s resolution though. Same on Series X, although its on the One X resolution.
Credit fully deserved, but i have to ask if its worth it at this point.
For real.
Yeah - people wonder why so many games feels so soulless and contracted out. It's because there's immense pressure to deliver a lengthy AAA product.
I'm too busy these days anyway, a 6-8 hour game is ideal for me. I replay a lot of Platinum's games for this reason. Not sure why people are shocked on this game - it started with crowdfunding and the game only costs like 40 bucks retail. The writing has been on the wall.
I would say 1 -> 2 -> 3
I used to like 2 more, and i do find it more fun to play. But Dead space 1 oozes atmosphere and feels a bit more open ended at times than 2.
What i would want from the new dead space but probably won’t get:
1. Less radio chatter and objectives explained to your face. Isaac is an engineer - he should know what to do. There should be less characters and more him and his reactions to the environment and situation.
And it hasn’t even dropped in price yet.
I see it hitting 130 million
I feel, like the DS’s, that it’ll be on shelves even 5 years from now in some budget form. Thats when it will really sell.
I think the current one is really good. It has a learning curve to maximize its potential, but im glad its been around long enough for me to figure it out.
The UI that launched with the xbone and the latter day 360 ones were not my jam.
Using the Club functions is your best bet to find a group.
I make a big distinction between their licensed games and their own IP's. They've said that they make the former to generate revenue to pour their hearts into the latter. The only truly disastrous game they made was Babylon's Fall, but just before that they released the solid Astral Chain and Nier Automata.
