Nintendo never does bad during the holidays, they just don't. I think it was last year that the Wii U was only 30k from beating the xbone. And that's with an extra year on the market.
A few weeks ago they re-confirmed it was coming to Wii U in 2016
Pretty much. Without Zelda or Star Fox this year was big let down for wii u owners. Yoshi and Fatal Frame were ok though.
Still, Splatoon this and Mario Maker are all instant classics.
This is if you can't get the games running PERFECTLY it might as well not be on there, any frame drops or graphical glitches ruin fighting games.
Anime tropes x Fire Emblem is the only other one coming at the moment.
@Muadiib
That is a unique perspective, for sure.
Its amazing how a "rushed" game back then was Halo 2, look at rushed games now. How the standards have changed.
Also wanted to point out that Monolithsoft is a team of around 80, all of the games you name (and most open world games in general) have an extremely high budget and teams well into the hundreds.
The wonderful 101 is a fantastic game man, probably in my top 5 this gen thus far. I usually see it for 30 bucks which is a good price, but if you can find it cheap go for it.
Wow, how old are you again? I used to like that you were consistent and didn't care that people hated you for preferring xbox, but you just demonstrated the same petty arguments against the Wii U that you often fight for the Xbone.
I'm not even going to name the scores of awesome games on the Wii and Wii U, from third parties and Nintendo alike. They're out there, and they make you look stupid as hell.
Most of the black friday deals around me suck! But i got a bucket o' dreamcast games from a retro store for nothing and im probably gonna pre-order Quantum Break and Xenoblade for less.
They showed zelda less than 2 weeks ago, and re-confirmed it is coming next year and for the Wii U.
Also scaling mobile games to console is one of the dumbest thing they can possibly do. People don't play mobile games on console. Period. It's a totally different platform and 99% of mobile games have no appeal when you're not on the go or bored.
Did you see the amount of beauty and brilliance in games like Zelda U, Mario Kart 8, or Smash Bros? You ...
It's actually a pretty fun game. The volleyball is fun and the social sim stuff is kind of hilarious... not sure how much more you can expect from a sports game other than solid gameplay. It has Dennis Rodman for crying out loud.
4 maps?!
That is inexcusable right there.
Everyone hated on the multiplayer key code thing back in 2010, but it let us get free maps for a year in bad co 2!
I would give thief a 7 if i didn't have to mash a button to open every damn window
Its a meme.
Best of luck with your life troubles. I've been there too. I personally found solace this year by finding people i could relate to outside of the internet (not a lot of metalhead, artsy-fartsy, movie obsessed people in Texas)
In the meantime, travel is everything, and so is music, for me at least.
Lol the disagrees...
All three consoles have some great games to offer imo.
This comment doesnt have much relevance here, because most of what Nintendo released this year wasn't recycled whatsoever. Splatoon, Mario Maker, Xenoblade, even duds like AC: Amiibo Festival, Fatal Frame and Devil's Third were new experiences and unexpected from Nintendo. The only "recycled" games were Mario Tennis and MP10.
The big reasons this year looks bad is:
1. Xenoblade hasn't come out yet, i think that game will be a solid 75+ or 80+
I think you messed up your censorship there
I was having a really rough week and this stroke of luck might actually be the turning point. Congrats to everyone else!
