AI will def be an issue. I teach middle school English, and we dont assess spelling at all, havent for years. I think we’re seeing the fallout of that right now and AI’s ripple is coming up

Writing in general is really on decline. I see typos and poor grammar on the reg, even in major publications.

I mean at least one would mean just that. If any of those titles had gameplay it would be noteworthy and a sign of life for those games. If they managed to sneak two in, and they were good previews eyes would be on Xbox for sure.

Yeah objective based stealth shooter genre is basically dead.

I know ppl want third person, Crystal Dynamics usually does third person, Xbox probably needs a third person shooter more than a first, but damn i wish it were in the style of the first 2 PD games.

Well, they put it on the Epic Store and refuse to make a physical version of the game. That loses out on a probably larger amount of ppl than they might’ve suspected

KI has always had its own cult fanbase. Theyre just remastering the game which is nice because this was one of last gens best fighters tbh

Its on Steam with crossplay with Xbox

The newer mario games are good about keeping challenging content as optional or bonus. I know the secret final level of 3D world gave me more trouble than anything a Sonic game has tossed my way

Did you play it on ps4/xbone? If so, yeah, it played terribly on those machines. 90 second load times, horrible input lag.

I couldnt enjoy the game until it got updated for Series X

I remember when Control came out a lot of people reported the low sales, but it went on to do very well through sales and word of mouth. I imagine Alan Wake 2 will perform similarly as a continuation of Control and the cult fanbase of the original will also eat it up.

N4G logic lol
They aren't $70 billion in the hole lol. That's not how mergers and acquisitions work. They reallocated that money into assets in the form of Activision’s workforce, IP’s, and annual cash flow. As far as MS is concerned, they took 69 billion that wasn't doing anything and reallocated it into a revenue generator.

This is why you won't see a big fat red -$70 billion on their balance sheet.

She feels a lot like a Cooper from Twin Peaks wannabe. Nonchalant, confident demeanor, and weird fixations.

Was gonna say, Nintendo workers seem to have it pretty good by industry standards. You dont often hear about layoffs or studio closures at Nintendo.

Whats with the pessimism? Remedy made Control which is pretty much the gold standard for a AAA single player game, along with great DLC

Red Dead on 360/ps3 is a notorious technical nightmare held together by spaghetti code. A lot of devs say its a miracle it ever hit shelves. I guarantee many aspects of the game were tied to 30 fps

I agree, the game has stuck with me in all aspects of presentation: sound and visuals were on point.

AKA - not the type to drop 70 on Alan Wake. All my friends with xboxes that like to play horror or narrative single player games own an X. The ones with an S play sports games and whatever comes along on Game pass.

So saying most ppl will play this on S seems presumptive at best

Not gonna lie i cant play this game. Its too hard 😭 i suck at parrying in games.

But Phil only floated “cancelling” it after it came out.

Considering the game got years of support after this, it was probably financially successful. Even if it represents everything i hate about modern gaming

Buying Activision didn’t “remove” $69 billion. It reallocated that money into assets in the form of Activision’s workforce, IP’s, and annual cash flow.
