Am i weird for liking FF3 the most? Those crawl space scenes haunt me.
@naruga
There is combat. You get guns in Isolation - several of them.
The controversy isnt the games depiction of nazis. Ffs people.
The controversy is using leftist hashtags to liken the nazis to Trump and his supporters (half the country voted for this guy - hes not a nazi).
Its not like the first game threw up a controversy - and this game didnt either until now.
I assume youre talking about the profit margin on the hardware?
From the estimates weve seen it is probably losing money but not much. Hardware losses are kind of standard practice going back to the 6th gen. I think the impressive thing to witness is how sleek and efficient of a system their hardware guys can push out when theyre given the time they need.
The 360 was loud, big and had a brick bigger than a gameboy and that was the LEAST of its problems.

Lol you know me monkeyman. Im not just here to bash the switch.
I do buy re-releases - just not for 50 dollars.
All of that for a game from 2011
Back when games had bots...
The fact that a stable and not very buggy launch game with a crap load of content was deemed rushed back then shows how low the bar is these days.
Counter-operative mode is still one of the coolest ideas for a game mode.
Its amazing how gamingbolt will dig up the most obscure devs to get comments from
Nah - old games would have to be much cheaper. I'm willing to bet 80-90% of early switch adopters have/had a 3DS. I really want Mario Party Top 100 for Switch - how many people will sit down and get 4 3DS' together to play mario party?
Remedy games look great - and more importantly they look all their own. They focus more on using unique effects to produce a game that doesnt look like anything else.
Max payne 1 and 2 were among the most technically impressive games of their eras.
Alan wake still looks great on PC with the moody fog and shadows and stark lighting.
Quantum break isn't near as good in the gameplay department but it's still impressive to look at w...
I was thinking the video files were already separate downloads. Dont own the game anymore but i thought this was the case.
It all depends on whether or not there's a successor to the 3ds. If they do - they screw themselves.
If nintendo puts all their cards on Switch it will have a steady stream of games for years to come. They could maybe release versions of it that are more catered to on-the-go gaming for Japan and the handheld fans in the US. Once it goes down in price eventually i see it skyrocketing.
Keep in mind - this is Switch's first holiday season thus far an...
Of course it leads YTD - it's been out the whole year!. The Switch didn't land til March - that's two full months it wasn't even on the market this year.
double post
2 to 1, almost. Switch is becoming a big success. Need to get one already lol...
Lego city Undercover is 17.1 GB on Wii U.
They compress their games well, end of story.
They arent intensive? They certainly push their own hardware harder than any other developer. The only other cartoony open world game off the top of my head is Lego City Undercover which takes up 17.1 GBs.
Idk where people get this idea that less realistic graphics necessarily take less effort. It's clear that a lot of effort goes into making Nintendo quality games in any art style.
It took Retro just as long to make Metroid Prime 3 as it took them to...
@Miss
Basically you can delete unused language dubs, single player campaigns in games like battlefield that many only play once or not at all, etc.
Its a great feature. Recently Doom's dlc was made free which is awesome. But that means the update is 50GB and screw that, so everytime i play doom i have to put my xbox in offline mode to avoid that massive install.
I would put money down that the resolution will be upped to at least 900p for release.
When Splatoon 2 was first shown off it was running at 720p, and i think now it has an adaptive resolution.
Conversely, im not a big zelda fan and i love BotW. I have never played a 3D zelda game to completion - i got close on WWHD but thats because it was one of the first games i got on Wii U.
But BotW is one of my favorite games - my big gripe is that it was obviously designed with the gamepad in mind and that entire aspect of the game was scrapped. WWHD is a much more fluid game to play than BotW because of the touchscreen inventory and map that BotW so desperately needs.
