a little over optimism for some of the wii u stuff, but otherwise i could see all that happening.

...It's a port of one game though. You can't shame the team for EA's poor decision to release the trilogy right after the already late addition of ME3 to wii u. Hell, i give them points for TRYING to explain the first 2 games for newcomers.

ME3 is one of the best wii u ports. It's pretty much level with the other consoles in terms of performance, and with no split frames or anything.

Well they actually did a phenomenal job porting ME3 to wii u, if you look at framerate comparisons the wii u is level with the 360 and ahead of the ps3. And that was at launch too. I think they have a good understanding of the hardware...

You don't "partner" to release your own games. they didnt have faith in it, didn't think it'd sell, gave them both to xseed. Now they know better because Last Story sold better in NA than Japan.
Thats a fair point but they said multiple times they had no plans to release xenoblade in the west, then oprainfall proved there was interest.

fatal frame 4, fatal frame 2 wii edition, disaster day of crisis, xseed had to bring over last story and pandoras tower, and it took almost a year of begging to get a LIMITED release of xenoblade.
im hoping now that iwata is CEO of NOA, he will give the go to bring over more japanese games. seeing X make it over probably the same year as japan is huge after all the games we missed on wii.

they predicted the wii u sold better they had wii u numbers almost exactly at 319,000, but they were 50,000 off on the xbone which they said sold 307,000
...dreamcast was a great system though
and the awesome artstyle makes it a beautiful game to this day. i remember getting the demo out of sheer boredom and playing it for the entirity of a rainy afternoon xD
To be honest i'd rather have another gamecube then wii. If nintendo's big games can't do the trick then they'll start getting creative, and that's what made the gamecube such an awesome system to own too. and no, xbox one is NOT the new xbox 1... the xbox 1 was awesome, it had tons of sega support, new ip's, the best versions of every game, pc ports, and it pioneered online gaming. the original xbox was a beast and by far MS's best moments in the industry in terms ...
600,000 units?! it sold almost 2 million. which still isn't good, but not 600,000 lol...
The game didnt boost sales by a lot, but its actually sitting on solid ground now, and its pretty much the go-to console in japan with 2 monster hunter games, dragon quest x, a new zelda themed dynasty warriors coming out and a fire emblem crossover with shin megami tensei. And hell, it outsold the BRAND NEW xbox one on its second christmas, that's pretty good. even half of the demand of the ps4 is a lot of demand.
The wii u will be fine, and both brawl and mario kart wii outsold ...
i think viva pinata is massively underrated. it was a great garden sim, and the sequel was even more fun with online multiplayer.
im thinking wii u, pc, and both portables this gen. something about the ps4 and xbone just dont entice me,. maybe later down the line i'll get one.
rareware in general were. like for perfect dark they were going to have a feature where you used the gameboy color camera and hooked it up to your n64 to superimpose your own face to the multiplayer characters... that's crazy today, nonetheless 1999-2000
